Guest DeputyHawk Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Anyone watch it? I have to say it was a big disappointment to me. I really thought the teams would have closed up a lot in the off-season but if anything the performance gap only seems to have widened. The Ferraris just streaked off into the distance, though who knows if Montoya could have kept them honest had he not fucked up his start. Alonso was looking good, and Button should be strong in the BAR though - Villeneuve must be sick.
Red Baron Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Ferrari's always do well at the Australian Grand Prix, and I wasn't surprise that it was a 1-2 Ferrari finish.
Guest jpclemmons Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 It looks like Ferrari or Renault will win the next few races till Williams and McLaren get thier shit together.
Guest JacK Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 It was so boring, I mean a lights-to-flag 1-2; Webber didn't finish . . . terrible. Though one has to wonder, just what has Montoya done? Is he insane? Why on earth did he sign with McLaren? They got nuthin', they'll struggle to win a race this year unless they make some major improvements. They were lucky to get points . . . just what happened to them? BAR and Renault, as well as Webber; are looking like they've leap-frogged McLaren (though it is early days).
