Guest Corino 1000 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 I've been wondering where the hell has Goldberg been in the last few weeks. It seems like its Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 20, not Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar with Steve Austin as special guest referre at Wrestlemania 20. I mean Austin invading Smackdown to get his ATV back. Where the hell has Goldberg been?

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 He's filming for the film that will finally win the guy his Oscar. He got totally hosed by the Academy once already. He should have gotten an Oscar for "Universal Soldier: The Return" and at least a nod for "Ready to Rumble". Damn Hollywood, always holding the man down. Guest Corino 1000 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 Dude what the hell? He's got a main event slot at Wrestlemania and he can't even be there? Mania is in 3 days maybe he could of been there at Smackdown tonight.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 12, 2004 He's been "suspended" and shooting Santa's Slay and actually doesn't have any more dates to work save for Mania...
Guest Corino 1000 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 No I'm not taking this on Goldberg. Im taking it on the bookers. This fued was so poorly built. The match is a couple a days from mania and no hype about there fued. As I said again its seems as if there is more heat between Austin and Lesnar then Goldberg and Lesnar. Downhome 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 I love the plot for Santa's Slay. I'm going to love it, it just sounds so crappy that it might be entertaining. Santa Claus is actually a demon who lost a bet with an Angel, so he becomes the giver of toys and happiness. But when the bet is off, he returns to his evil ways. That's great. They haven't booked Goldberg right hardly at all while he's been in WWE. This is a fitting way for him to end his WWE career.

I've never realized that until now... They REALLY need to play that up in the movie... Nothing worse for a Jew to do then to promote a Christian custom. LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 One the subject of the Oscar nod, he should have been up this year for Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Especially with the swerve ending he pulls. [/spolier] He is really the lady Tasmanian Devil!~ Talk about a twist, talk about a killer performance. Tim Robbins my ass.... Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 12, 2004 JHawk didn't appreciate the fact that the Lesnar/Goldberg build on SmackDown! was focused on Austin, but, as I mentioned in a past Raw VS SmackDown!, Goldberg, Austin, Lesnar and the officials knew that he wasn't getting TV time when it was at it's most crucial - thus the friendship built between Goldberg and Austin, so that the hype could be focused on the token face referee. SmackDown!'s on tomorrow night down here, and if Lesnar isn't afraid Austin after being afraid of someone like Hardcore Holly, then that's just bullshit. I'd rather see build focused on the guest referee than watch Goldberg actually try and hype his match.
