DangerousDamon Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 from a good match to a billy gun match That was a good one.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Weird to see a heel actual WRESTLE to win the match. Benjamin ruled back when he was a jobber on Sunday Night Heat, so I don't understand the hate. AND WTF WITH A USA CHANT?!!? BENJAMIN IS FROM MINNESOTA!
Guest Basswitch Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Are the fans chantin for Benjamin?
ChrisMWaters Posted March 19, 2004 Author Report Posted March 19, 2004 I still find it poetically funny that Billy Gunn has YET to win a televised match since he returned at the Royal Rumble.
Guest LME Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 I actually thought Haas did a better job than Shelton in that match. Charlie actually told a story. He tried to be a civil opponent at the beginning, sticking with simple submissions and not getting too violent. Yet, Shelton kept joking around and treating Charlie like a non-threat. Every time he did this, Haas was getting angrier and angrier. Finally, he snapped and began to beat on Benjamin as if he was an enemy and not really a tag-team partner. You could see the anger as Haas began to bust out clotheslines, elbows to the face, side suplexes, and germans. Finally, his anger got the best of him and he forgot about the spinkick reversal that Shelton always does. Haas actually did an admirable job of building a story in a 5-minute match. Once again, he isn't given enough credit as he should be. Haas > Benjamin.........? Good point. That's what I get for trying to over-analyze wrestling - I miss the obvious. heh In any event, I think both played their parts well. It's just too bad the fans shit on it. Understandable, I guess..
Guest Basswitch Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Back when Billy Gunn was watchable.. it was only because of Road Dogg on the mic. Now that they both suck though, and one is out the WWE, Billy gunn has nothing going for him.
Guest Basswitch Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Benjamin = pwnin the Gauntlet. However Taz just said Shelton is gonna win.. so he obviously isnt gonna win. O surprise.. the big show
ChrisMWaters Posted March 19, 2004 Author Report Posted March 19, 2004 The look on Benjamin's face when Show came out was PRICELESS. Glad I got the man's autograph. ^^
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Gotta love SB's facial expression when Shows theme played. Not as good as when Rikishi gave him the stinkface in the SD Rumble though.

Benjamin ruled back when he was a jobber on Sunday Night Heat, so I don't understand the hate. What hate? People here love Shelton Benjamin. I'm just trying to point out that Charlie Haas has his positives as well.

Lord of The Curry Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 I guess Canada gets these things before you Yanks do because I just got done watching SD. The main event is fuckin great. EDIT: Sorry. Really sorry. Just realized my mistake. I'm drunk, I swear!

Both are equally good wrestlers, come from amatuer background, and get no mic time. Shwo insulting Boston = great.
NYU Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 I guess Canada gets these things before you Yanks do because I just got done watching SD. Eddy/Rey is wicked awesome. I'd elaborate, but I shant spoil. Good. I was worried you gave away the fact that Rey won the Gauntlet, when he hasn't even come out yet. ..... Wait.

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 I actually thought Shelton Benjamin might win the gauntlet. Fuck.

ChrisMWaters Posted March 19, 2004 Author Report Posted March 19, 2004 ...is it me, or have they had WAY to many "NOW that's what I call Music" CDs?

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 ...is it me, or have they had WAY to many "NOW that's what I call Music" CDs? Who cares? It's not like anyone buys them anyway...well, anyone who isn't a moronic 14 yr old girl who wouldn't know good music if it got her pregnant.
NYU Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 ...is it me, or have they had WAY to many "NOW that's what I call Music" CDs? Too many..........or not enough? I NEED to have "Toxic" on CD. It hasn't been played NEARLY enough on the radio and MTV. *sarcasm-meter explodes*
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 $20,000,000 says Mysterio wins the match.
Guest LME Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Super Benjamin making "I want da belt" motions = ownage
