I'm stuck on this mission and it's driving me crazy. In Staunton Island, I'm on this thing for Donald Love, I think it's his second job. Anyway, I can get over to Portland, get in the boat and collect all six of the packages that the plane drops out, and as I catch each one, I get another cop star, till it gets to five. I get back to a dock outside Staunton to get back to deliver the packages to Love when I get killed within thirty seconds by the feds and a barrage of helicopters.

 

Can somebody give me a hand here, or do I just suck ass at this game?

Well, it's not honest, but the way I finally beat it was to use the cheat code to get rid of the stars. L1,L1,R2,R2,Left,right,left,right,left,right. Do it fast, and no more stars. Or you can try to make it to the body shop.

First off, go get the speeder off of Asuka's.  Collect the packages, and have a yakuza stinger waiting, or if you have time, grab the banshee down the way.  The Banshee has been proven to be the fastest in the game.  To be safe, try to the body shop.  If you have big balls, try to out-drive the FBI.  It's MUCH more thrilling to beat them.  Or you can beat the shit out of them with a barracks, which is super easy to do.

I believe this mission takes place in back of whoever that chick is that brings you over to Staunton Island. If that is the case, you can take a car from the apartment complex's parking lot and head back towards the main part of Staunton (get the fuck away from the docks). There should be a right that you can make immediately after getting on the road that leads away from the docks. The right will take you into an alley with an upper level to it on your right. On the upper level is a repair shop where you can get your car resprayed. You're welcome.

I think that in  the whole game, I found this mission the most difficult (mind you I was hammered). I  tried everything-cheats and all. Eventually when I did get it, I had left a Stinger, cop-car(absorbs a lot of punishment) or banshee ready to drive at the pier, and just tried to outrace the FBI. Once I did it , it was very satisfying because of the difficulty of the mission ie. hitting the plane in the wrong position, or just missing it.

Try that, and if it doesn't work, just type in the health cheat while in your car-it restores the engine and wont explode-for a while anyway!

I just beat that quest the other day. I was on it for over a month, and I had to cheat to beat it too. I had to use the crime level cheat as well. Anyway, after you try to do the code, and realize that moron posted it wrong, you can get the real code here, unless of course, you want to raise your wanted level, then use his:

Now, my PS2 keeps saying "error reading disc" so I can't get past the next quest. I get the snitch to his plane on time, but my game always crashes on the way to get the goods that he left me.
