Gert T Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 It's funny my friends were talking with me about Sapp on Friday, and I said, it'd be good if they got him, but Sam Adams was a done deal three years ago and he bolted. Nice bait-and-switch deal, but if the Raiders want to grossly overpay him so be it. Dillon knew he couldn't just half-ass it anymore so that's why he wants out.
nl5xsk1 Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Strange them bringing in Sapp after getting Washington, espcially if they are going to switch to a 3-4 I was thinking the same thing ... unless Sapp is willing or able to spend a bunch of time at DE, they're going to be paying a bunch of money for a guy (Washington) that will be sitting on the bench a fair amount of the time. Because you can't put big Ted on the outside. How about on 3 and long? Do both Sapp AND Washington sit?
