AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 I'm gonna bid on the Ratchet and Clank, likely but first: do ya ship it insured (I live in the US)? $4.00 I'd assume includes insurance, because it's way less with Media Mail if you don't add extra services. Guess it doesn't hurt to plug some of my stuff: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...sort=3&since=-
Guest OctoberBlood Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Shipping insurance: US $1.44 (Optional) I live right beside a mini-post office. (Seriously, it's smaller than my bedroom. It's cute. ) I do use media mail, but I usually put my shipping on this type of things around 4 bucks because the inital price of the product is so low. I just even it out basicly. That's up most people on ebay do, and I kinda just go along with it, heh.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Yeah, I saw the optional insurance part after posting--put in a bid, in fact. Yeah, I do that too at times because of the way Ebay charges. If you "hide" some of the cost in the shipping they take less of a commission. I also got stuff on half.com under the same user ID, but because of the 10 cent promotion, most of it is up on Ebay right now and I just suspended a bunch of my listings. Guest OctoberBlood Report post Posted March 21, 2004 Yeah. Between ebay and pay pal robbing us, it's tough. Thanks for bidding. It's a great game, and I told myself I was gonna "collect" my games, but I am low on money so I've gotta get rid of the ones I don't play anymore. Remember my Sega Saturn? Bleh. The guy who won the system told me he didn't have any money until the 1st of March. I argued with him, and then finally gave in and I waited til the first. Contacted him around that time and he got onto me for being "mean". Which infact, I wasn't. The guy then asked for my phone number and address. I gave it to him so he'd send the freaking money already. He called me using some middle-man service. Which means, he types what he wants to say, then the ladie in between tells me what he typed... then I talk to her, then she types it to him or something. It was crazy and weird. He must be disabled or something. Well, it's March 20th, and I've emailed him a few times this last week, never got a reply. So yeah, I won't do that crap anymore. I'm gonna report it all to ebay and relist the system. It sold for $35.99, but I probally won't get that much out of it this time. Shame. I tried to let the 2nd highest bidder have it, but he never got back to me. I'm gonna report it all to ebay and relist the system after my other auctions end.
