Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 21, 2004 I was just arguing in the Lesnar thread, when I realized, January 2004 was a REALLY bizarre and fucked up month booking wise. We all know how I feel about the Angle/Eddie storyline, so no need to get into that. However, Chris Benoit, who had been chasing Brock since November, goes through the gamut of Heyman's obstacles and roadblocks in his quest to fight Brock, wins the Rumble from number one after taking out the Big Show in the end... And Runs away to Raw -John Cena and the Big Show started feuding after Survivor Series. They fought each other once or twice and Show costs Cena the number one contendership... And they never interact in January, save for one segment that was not part of the feud but to build Big Show up as a Rumble Challenger. -For like two months, Jamie Noble is built up as a face challenger to Tajri's heel champion, as he was avenging Nidia... When the whole thing ends inconclusively, Tajri loses the belt to Rey for whatever reason, and Noble turns into a heel domestic abuser? What the hell was going on in January? Only smarks would care, but still that deosn't mean they've feuded for 10 years. 5 Years is believable since HBK kinda turned on HHH in late 1998. So this proves HBK had a hankering to get in Chyna's pants. Mark me proved wrong I guess since HHH was out of action until HBK did his miracle face turn in Jan. 99.
