Basically, New Jack jumps down from the top rope with a chair and just KNOCKS it right into the kid's face. They get a close-up of his face and blood just streams out. It's way too graphic to watch. Guest Shawn Report post Posted April 3, 2002 To New Jack's defense, the kid came in and said he was a trained wrestler so Heyman put him on the show because he needed a guy. In the match, Mass didn't want to blade himself so he let New Jack do it for him (big mistake) and NJ went too deep. I hate to put this bakc on the kid but it was his fault for lieing about his age and training and then getting in the ring with New Jack in the first place. It was horrible though. The fans were chanting beached whale as they do when a larger guy is down. Plus to top it off, his dad was in the first row screaming, "Stop the match, he's only 17!" They had to clean up the blood with a mop and bucket it was that bad with the blood spurting from his head and flowing like a river. There's a lot of blood in one's scalp and when cut well...I think he soaked 3 towels. Okay, I'll stop making you all puke now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The fat kid showed up with some midgets to do a comedy match, but when asked if he would wrestle in a "real" match, lied and said he was legal aged and a trained professional. And, as someone said, asked NJ to blade him b/c he never had ... but that pinnacle of professionalism NewJack went WAY TOO DEEP and slit him like a lobotomy victim. When the case came to trial, the kid contradicted himself and after lying on the stand, finally admitted that he had lied to ECW ... case closed. So, NewJack is only guilty of carelessness (and a lack of wrestling skills) By the way, the video isn't worth checking out ... it's gross, but the quality is iffy and you can see better blood and guts elsewhere. I really wouldn't suggest reading anything Bruce has to say about Heyman or ECW. To me, he always seems biased against anything Paul Heyman does. I downloaded the MPEG off of WinMX last week and there is plenty of blame to go around. Eric Kulas gets some for saying he was a wrestler. His dad gets a piece for not stopping that idea when it started to get out of hand (screaming from the first row does nothing, acting would have done more). New Jack gets a lot of blame for being an idiot in general and doing a horrible blade jod in paticular. D-Von Dudley, Kulas' "partner" gets some for abandoning him in the ring with New Jack. And last but definately not least, Paul Heyman gets some of the blame for not using some common sense and stopping this mess in the first place. Mass Transit asked New Jack to blade him but he reacted differently to how a Wrestler would react (you need to stay very still if someone's blading you) and the cut went way too deep. I dont think New Jack wanted the kid to spew like the fountains at the Bellagio, but I do think that he wanted to fuck Kulas up a bit for being stupid enough to trust him like that. It takes some muscle & some leverage to make the cut that Jack did on Kulas's forehead, he had to be trying to hurt him. In short, this was ECW's fault for ever letting the kid get into the ring. EVERY wrestling promotion faces a constant stream of posers and wannabes who are trying to get in the ring, and the only moral and legal thing to do is to tell them to get lost. He bled a lot, but some people make it out to sound like his whole forehead was slashed or that blood flowed like it was poured from a bucket.
