Guest Report post Posted April 18, 2002 I was looking for the thread about the Vince interview played before RAw in Australia but I couldnt find it. Soembody asked for a detailed recap so I came across one. Here. From LOP: Before RAW aired in Australia this week, Fox sports had an interview with Vince Mcmahon. The first question was, does Vince think he's much different on the camera than off. Vince said his character is different to what he really is like, but said they both had money, and were both aggressive. They went on to talk about Hulk Hogan and Vince said that a few months ago he never thought Hogan would be back, and the presenter asked if Vince and Hogan could sit down and talk and Vince said yes, as there is no bad blood. Next the presenter asked if there was one moment that Vince regretted about the WWF's time, and Vince said obviously the Owne Hart accident, and talked a bit about what happened. Then the presenter asked what Vince's proudest moment in the WWF has been, and Vince said both his Children being involved in the business. Talked a bit about how Shane and Steph got involved, and how they were both interested in it at an early age. They talked a bit about Bret Hart, and Vince made it very clear that what happened wasn't Bret's fault, but he made it even clearer that it wasn't his fault either. Then they talked about never saying never in wrestling, and Vince said it was a possibility that Bret might make a return, and that it was attempted for WM18 but obviously fell through. Next they did some word association. -Vince Russo. Vince said that at one point he was accused of sending Vince Russo to WCW to stuff it up, but that it wasn't true, basically made it clear he didn't think much of Vince Russo. -Eric Bischoff. Vince said he's never met the guy but didn't like how he turned the Monday night wars into something personal with Vince. - The Rock. Vince said The Rock is one of the most amazing people in the whole world. Talked about how he's a third generation wrestler, and said that he is always trying to learn. - Mae Young. Vince said that she was an amazing woman, always willing to be involved in wrestling. The Presenter wrapped it up by asking Vince what is his life long dream. Vince paused for a moment and then said to have grandchildren. He said Shane's been married for five and a half years and if things don't start happening Vince is going to draw him up a diagram. The End Pretty good all in all, went for about 20 minutes and they touched on some very dicey issues. Vince seemed very nice and cool with all of it. Not the most in-depth review Im sure but still very interesting. And the Shane comment was funny.
