Damaramu 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2004 I was almost positive that Edge was going to win the World Title from Big Show a few years ago whenever Show won it from Brock. It just seemed like the perfect shock and fresh face to give us something new and maybe even a ratings boost. "Did you hear? Edge won the title on Smackdown! I didn't expect that! Anything can happen! Let's see what happens tonight!" Then Angle won it.......I guess I'm not really complaining b/c he went on to have that awesome match with Benoit.
