Randy Savage vs HHH

 

Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle

 

The Rockers vs The Midnight Express

 

Ricky Steamboat vs Shawn Michaels

Bret Hart and Hogan never met.  I don't know if the match would be any good, but the historical value would be excellent.

 

didn't Steamboat and Michaels have a few matches when Steamboat was the Dragon in his second WWF run?

I would have love to seen the Hollywood Blondes take on the Steiner Brothers.It almost seemed like the Hollywood Blondes were coming in right as the Steiner Brothers were going out.

Actually, I would have liked to seen a match with The Hollywood Blondes and The Midnight Express (Eaton and Lane).  That could have been the classic to end all classics.

 

Anybody know if Bruno Sammartino and Lou Thesz ever met?  There seem to be conflicting stories of that one, and that would have been interesting.  Not necessarily good, but interesting.

I think the Rockers did have a match against the Midnight Express back when ESPN was showing reruns of AWA and WCCW at 3:00 in the early 90s.

 

but it was the Midnight Rockers vs the Midnight Express

Hey everyone -- I've seen 3 major matches listed here that did happen!  

 

(1)  Bret vs. Hogan happened at least once on a Nitro (September 28, 1998).  It was ended b/c of a run-in, but it did happen.  Bret was taken out on a stretcher and Hogan then started to wrestle Sting.  Because of the wolfpak run-in, it was assumed Hogan won by DQ.

 

(2)  Flair vs. Goldberg - happened at least once on a nitro, maybe twice.  It was March 9, 1999.  It ended in a run-in, but they did have a match.  Goldberg won by DQ.

 

(3)  Savage vs. Austin - Savage defeated Austin in the second round of the 1995 U.S. Title tournament.  That match aired on a Saturday night.  I remember watching it and I know I have it on tape somewhere.  I remember that Savage won it cleanly with an elbow from the top.

Savage vs. Benoit happened at least 2 times on Saturday nights in 1995 I believe.  They were wild, great matches.

yeah, I know Flair and Benoit did a couple of times.  But I can't remember exactly when, so it's too hard to look it up. It is safe to say that basically anyone in WCW in that time period crossed paths, even if it was only to lead to a screwy finish.  The only exception would be things involving Hogan and any of the non-main eventers.

This is a match that happened but it would have been awesome if it took place at WWF WrestleMania VIII and that is Hulk Hogan Vs. Ric Flair.That would have just been awesome.
