Worst game ever for me has got to be this old Nintendo game called Pirates, or something like that.  All you did was cruise around in a ship, go to town, cruise around in a ship, go to town and fight, cruise around in a ship and.... well that's about it.

Pirates was great.  At least it was on the PC.  I think Sid Meier made it, if I remember correctly.

Halo is very great game.

 

Though if he is a Nintendo fan boy, let me tell you. Re-releasing all Resident Evil games. What if someone who has the cube (like my lil brother) doesn't like the Resident Evil series (and he doesn't). It looks bad on Nintendo. (Well I hope, Nintendo screwed themselves with N64).

 

Ah well I got my trusty River City Ransom on my NES.

 

Oh and for football, the NFL Gameday series.

did you ever beat ninja turtles one? i had it for many years and never even got to the last level.  turtles 2 the arcade game for nes ruled though it was just like the arcade game and a blast to play.

It took me 5 years just to get past the water stage on that game...and I STILL never beat it!!!!!

 

As far as the worst game I've ever played...I'd say WCW Thunder/Nitro, Mario 2 (that game is fun but it pisses me off), and Turtles tournament fighters. I should throw in Sonic 3 out of sheer bitterness because I let my friend barrow it when I was half way through the game and never got it back.

WCW Backstage Assault was horrible. The only thing that salvaged it from the trash can was that you had to fight your way to a title, unlike winning it after three matches (Smackdown: Just Bring It) or never getting a damn title shot (Smackdown 2)

I never beat the Turtles game either. See, you play video games because they're fun. It's one thing for a game to be challenging, but a lot of games find bad ways to be hard. Trick jumps are the worst. The Turtles games has a level in it where you have to jump from one tiny platform to the next. At the same time, enemies are flying at you that knock you backwards so you fall in the water and have to start all over again. How is that fun? I just don't like platform games generally, because most of them seem to rely on this kind of nonsense. It takes a lot of creativity to make a good game and unfortunately there is a serious lack of imagination in video games. Most games just take someone else's good idea and water it down.

That said, I do like the Turtles arcade game. Sure it's pretty mindless but it's fun. What is it that makes this game fun and Final Fight (another side scrolling beat em up) not fun at all (with aplogies to those of you who like this game)?

Hands down the worst game ever is a game for PS1 called "Space Hulk" it is just plain abortion. If you can stay alive for more then 15 seconds it is a big accomplishment. I can't say how crappy it really is.

First of all, everything Pokemon sucks. It's for people under 10 years old. Pokemon isn't even an RPG. RPGs aren't mean't to be kiddy. Since you say it's not bad, you must still be in preschool. You are nothing but a immature person that acts like he's 4 years old or something.

First off, I love the Resident Evil series.  But, I don't get the logic of only making it a Game Cube exclusive, when more people own PS2's.  I really don't want to get a Gamecube just to play the new Resident Evils.

 

But all that aside, the game that I really was disapointed in was Zelda: Majora's Mask.  This game was not fun.  I loved the other Zelda games, but this one just didn't cut it for me.  I guess I didn't like the premise of it.  I didn't like how it ran on a timer, so that if you got stuck on a part, like I did, you would have to start over, thus negating everything else that you did.  

 

I also agree with TMNT for Nintendo, which was a pain in the ass to play.
