ROH Fantasy Booking

After the RF Scandal ROH was looking for someone to buy the company or they would end ROH. After weeks of waiting and thoughts of ending ROH former MLW owner Court Bauer bought the company. Many members of ROH left the company and many new wrestlers entered the company. Including people from WWE. Bauer was able to pull a few strings and get a TV on his old MLW slot plus one hour added. The shows are every two weeks one Friday live so all my wrestlers are held down to a written contract on all days they are needed. After a couple of months ROH is ready to start again with a huge tournament for the title at the Shane Shamrock Cup be ready June 25th 2005.

June 25th 2005

 

 

The night starts of with Court Bauer backstage in his office. He cuts a five minute promo on how he got ROH and saying that he is better then former owner Rob Feinstein. He explains everything about the tournament that every match tonight will indeed be tournament match and that there will be a new champion tonight.

 

Round 1

 

Shelton Benjamin vs. The Amazing Red

The match ends when Red a west coast bomd Shelton catches him in the powerbomb position and throws him forward the doing a Burning Hammer.8:13…*1/2

 

Chris Cash vs. John Walters

The match ends when Chris Cash goes for a cash flow Walters lands on his stomps Cash in the gut a gives him Hurricane DDT. 9:12…**3/4

 

 

Samoe Joe is in the back in the locker room with a towel over his head. He looks pissed because his title was vacated. He starts talking about how this is bullshit that he has to win the title all over again. He starts saying he was the greatest ROH Champ ever and that he held the tile for almost a year. He says that the fans don’t appreciate great talent like him. He guarantees that he will win the Championship once again and show everybody that he is better then anyone in that locker room. He then barges out of the room and through the entrance place to enter the ring.

 

 

Samoe Joe vs. Brian Danielson

The match basically ends with Joe overpowering Danielson with a Powerbomb and then Cobra Clutches him till he taps out.6:12…***

 

Teddy Hart vs. Super Dragon

Before the match Teddy Hart cuts a promo on how great he is. He says his line eventually that if you love me I love you back if you hate me I hate you back. Then after Dragon comes out. The match ends when Teddy is tossed up to the third rope and 30 ft moonsaults dragon.9:30… ***

 

Paul London is backstage talking for a while. He is saying that WWE miss used him and he is glad to be back in ROH. Then Colt Cabana charges into the locker room and attacks Paul. He starts beating him up and working on the legs so that London will not be able to do his finisher The London Calling. Cabana walks out and says after tonight you’ll be crawling back to WWE with all the other piece of shit wrestlers like yourself.

 

 

Jack Evans vs. AJ Styles

This match is a good spotfest.The match ends when Evans is thrown

into the ropes tries a titl o whirl lands on his feet Styles stomps him in

the stomach and Styles Clashes him. 9:09…*1/2

 

Paul London vs. Colt Cabana

Paul London walks out limping while Cabana is in the ring laughing.

When they shake London slaps him in the face. The match Colt goes

for a powerbomb London lands on his feet and gives him a Sliding

After this match the announcer Eric Gargullio recaps on which matches

we will be seeing so far for the next round of the tournament. Shelton

Benjamin vs. John Walters, Samoe Joe vs. Teddy Hart, and AJ Styles

Christopher Daniels is on screen. He couldn’t be on the show because

he’s in Japan. He’s says that when he comes back to ROH there will be

a huge change. When he comes back ROH will be affected greatly. He

This match is a good mat wrestling contest. The crowd really seemed

to be into this one. The match ends when Mike throws him into the

ropes out of nowhere the Dusk till Dawn. Mike taps. 8:12…**

This match is pure squash. Homicide stiffing the shit out of Bobby and

When Shelton walks out he starts talking in the ring for a while. He seems to be very over with the crowd. Well he talks about how great he is. Well at the end he says that “no one can stop me from winning this tournament…Cause me one talented NiGGA~!!!” The crowd pops like crazy then Walters comes out. They shake hands and the match starts. It’s a good mat wrestling contest. Benjamin gets plenty of submissions. Many near falls in this match. The match ends when Shelton goes for a 450, he misses it. Walters takes advantage and tries to get the Hurricane DDT. While Walters tries the move Shelton lands on his feet behind Walters a delivers a deadly Burning Hammer.14:12…***

 

 

Samoe Joe vs. Teddy Hart

This is a classic little man vs. big man match. The whole match Teddy

Thinks he’s the shit and Samoe Joe keeps kicking his ass. The match

ends when Teddy tries a Hart Attack while Joe is standing up. Joe

catches him and scoop slams him down followed by a cobra clutch till

Paul London vs. AJ Styles

The whole match AJ is working on London’s legs. The match end’s with

When Joe comes out he grabs the mic same with Benjamin. Benjamin starts talking about the way he is gonna win tonight and hes about to say bis line when Joe inturrrupts and says “ What are you going say Benjamin…Your one talented NiGGA? Huh. When key word Benjamin nigga. So why don’t you save yourself and the ROH fans some time and lay down?” Benjamin just lays down. Benjamin gets on the ground and Joe goes for the pin. Benjamin kicks out at the last second. Joe looks pissed. They both get up and stare at eachother. Benjamin slaps Joe across the face and then they start fighting. The match ends when Joe gets in the camel clutch. Shelton reaches the ropes. Joe goes against the ropes and tries to big boot Benjamin. Shelton ducks it and gives a Burning Hammer to Joe. He wins the match. After the match his back is hurting from giving the burning hammer. 13:34…**3/4

 

 

AJ Styles is backstage with a towel over his head. He is talking about how he came this far and he will defeat Homicide tonight.

This match is a good everything. A stiff contest a lot of submisisions, great spots a lot of near falls, ect. The match ends when Styles goes for a Spiral Tap. Shelton gets to the ropes before he can do it. The both of them are up there fighting for at least 2 minutes. At the end of Benjamin gets Styles up for a Burning Hammer off the second rope. Shelton wins the match. After the match there is a huge celebration balloons falling down everything.20:43…****1/4

Well here are the main problems how in the hell are the matches ratings possible with the time giving. 6 minutes and 12 minutes for Danielson and Joe, and its ***s?

 

Also why is Joe and Danielson 6 minutes(when they could go 10 minutes really easy),while AJ vs Evans is 9 minutes.

 

Also if this was June 04, Joe would have held the title for a year.

ROH Lockeroom scoop

      July 2nd 2005

 

Colt Cabana has been released from the company after having a huge argument with owner Court Bauer. Colt was said to be angry after jobbing to Paul London at the Shane Shamrock Cup. His words exactly were " Im sick of this bullshit! I stay here working my ass off at ROH and Paul who leaves the company to go with WWE comes back and beats me like nothing?!" Colt Cabana soon ask to be released after that.

 

ROH has hired some new talent which would be Stevie Richards and Mr. Agulia. Steven Richards was said to quit because of his position on his card. He felt that WWE had been wasting his talent and that if he left the company he was sure to become more succesful then in WWE.

The announcer Eric Gaurguillo is talking about what a great night of wrestling we have ahead of us. The debut of Steven Richards, a battle for the Pure Wrestling Belt, Shelton Benjamin vs. Samoe Joe, and Christopher Daniels will be here tonight he ask what does he have in store for us?

 

Steven Richards is taking a walking backstage of his new home ROH. He is welcomed by many members of the ROH lockeroom, until he meets Teddy Hart. Steve is being friendly to him and ask where Court Bauer’s office his. Teddy gives him directions and leaves him without saying anything. Steve walks of in the directions Teddy told him.

 

 

Izzy with Special K vs. The Amazing Red

The whole match Special K was pulling off some cheap shots during the match while Izzy distracted the ref. The match ended when Izzy threw Red into the ropes. Red lands on his feet from a tilt o whirl. Izzy tries a clothline Red ducks it sweeps his leg and delivers a Red star Press. Amazing Red wins.7:12…*

 

 

Steven Richards is still walking backstage with the directions Teddy gave him. He is wondering around backstage till he finds a door. He says finally and opens it. When he opens the door there it is the parking lot. Steve starts talking to him self and says he swore he said turn right. He keeps thinking till Spanky walks by him. Steve stops him and ask where Court Bauer’s office his. Spanky says it’s all the way across the building. Steve gets a confused look on his face and tells Spanky that Ted Hart told him it was here. Spanky chuckles and says well it’s all the way across the building. Steve leaves him and walks.

 

 

Samoe Joe is in his dressing room with a towel over his head. He looks even more pissed then he looked in the tournament. “Shelton Benjamin I let you slip away from me last on June 25th. But it won’t happen again! You stole that title from me and I want it back! Shelton you see your just a little punk. Well tonight you’re facing a big punk. Tonight that title is as good as mine!” The camera then fades black.

 

 

AJ Styles theme music comes on and he walks out to the ring. He starts talking about how he is the great one. The phenomenal. He says that he can use a workout and that anybody in that lockeroom that wants to face come out now and get ready for a beating. Theme music comes on and there’s stall for around a second until John Walters comes out. There’s a huge pop for John Walters and he stays out there giving fives to the crowd for about a two minutes until he enters the ring. As soon as he slides into the ring Styles stomps on him and the bell rings.

 

AJ Styles vs. John Walters

This is a great matt wrestling contest. The match ends when Walters tries a hurricane DDT. When Walters is about to drop him for the move Styles lands on his feet, in a position that Walters has him in a DDT position. AJ then twist the arm of John and stomps him the gut then Styles Clashes him.16:13…***

 

The camera ends up being in Court Bauer’s office. The door opens and its Steven Richards. Steven starts saying that he is proud and thinks it is an honor to be here in ROH. Court says the honor is ours. They talk for around two more minutes then Court says alright you should get going you have match tonight. Steven then leaves.

 

 

4 way dance elimination for The ROH Pure Wrestling Title

 

Teddy Hart vs. Brian Danielson vs. Super Dragon vs. Jimmy Rave

This match has great spots in it. The first elimination is when Brian

Danielson throws Teddy Hart out of the ring. Jimmy rave is down and

Super Dragon is on the top rope getting ready for a phoenix splash. He

delivers it and goes for the pin. Daniels breaks up the pin and gets

Super Dragon in a Catamuliation. Dragon taps out and that’s the first

elimination. The second elimination happens when Teddy throws

Jimmy Rave into the ropes. Jimmy gets the Dusktilldawn in. Teddy’s

about to tap out until Brian comes breaks it up and gets Jimmy in a

Dragon sleeper. Jimmy taps out and that’s the second elimination.

The last elimination is when Teddy is on the third rope. He tries a hart

attack to Brain who is standing up and when there about to hit Brain

gets Teddy into a armbar. Teddy rolls throw it and gives dragon a stiff

forearm. He goes back to the third rope and goes for the Hart Attack

but this time it’s successful. Teddy Hart is the new ROH Pure Wrestling

Shelton Benjamin is backstage talking into the camera. He starts

When Steven Richards comes out he gets the biggest pop from the crowd. At the beginning of the match they shake hands and go at it. The match is a good all rounder. Well the match ends when London is on the third rope and while Steven Richards is standing in the middle of the ring. Paul jumps tries a cross body and Steven Stevie kicks the crap out of him.14:11…***1/2…After the match Steve Richards is in the ring celebrating, when out of nowhere Teddy Hart gets in the ring and starts beating the shit of Stevie. To end of the attack he smacks Richards in the face with his newly one title. Richards is left in the ring bloodied up.6:12

 

 

ROH World Title Match

 

Samoa Joe vs. Shelton Benjamin

This is a great match. The match ends when Joe gets Benjamin in a Cobra Clutch. They stay in there for about 5 minutes. Until Christopher Daniels and group of Roderick Strong, Matt Sydel, and Austin Aries charge into the ring. They start pounding on Joe and throw him out of the ring. Roderick Strong lifts up Shelton and gives him a CX 03. The bell is rung from disqualification. Daniels then gives the last rights to Benjamin. After Benjamin is knocked out on the ground Christopher Daniels picks up the microphone and says “We are The New Prophecy! Shelton Benjamin this title isn’t going to be yours for much longer. ROH get ready for the future of professional wrestling!” He drops the microphone and picks up the title and The Prophecy start posing for pictures. 27:12

 

The screen fades black and the nights over…..

Small error, but your match times need to be fixed. The RoH TV Show is only 2 hours long. Including commercials, and all the angle build ups, you have a 3.5 hour show it seems.

 

I would've gone with some other fed because RoH is a bitch to book, since most of their wrestlers aren't that well known to general fans and you have to be a super-fan of it to know everything like markingout it seems.

Is there really a purpose?

 

Samoe Joe is in his dressing room with a towel over his head. He looks even more pissed then he looked in the tournament. “Shelton Benjamin I let you slip away from me last on June 25th. But it won’t happen again! You stole that title from me and I want it back! Shelton you see your just a little punk. Well tonight you’re facing a big punk. Tonight that title is as good as mine!” The camera then fades black.

 

Confused about this one. Who is the heel Benjamin and Joe seem like they are both the intense heel by the sound of his promo.

 

AJ Styles theme music comes on and he walks out to the ring. He starts talking about how he is the great one. The phenomenal. He says that he can use a workout and that anybody in that lockeroom that wants to face come out now and get ready for a beating. Theme music comes on and there’s stall for around a second until John Walters comes out. There’s a huge pop for John Walters and he stays out there giving fives to the crowd for about a two minutes until he enters the ring. As soon as he slides into the ring Styles stomps on him and the bell rings.

 

AJ Styles vs. John Walters

This is a great matt wrestling contest. The match ends when Walters tries a hurricane DDT. When Walters is about to drop him for the move Styles lands on his feet, in a position that Walters has him in a DDT position. AJ then twist the arm of John and stomps him the gut then Styles Clashes him.16:13…***

 

Should of been built up as a unexperienced wrestler vs a good known wrestler. Walters often gets portrayed like this, and it seems like the smart thing to do rather than a good mat contest.

 

The camera ends up being in Court Bauer’s office. The door opens and its Steven Richards. Steven starts saying that he is proud and thinks it is an honor to be here in ROH. Court says the honor is ours. They talk for around two more minutes then Court says alright you should get going you have match tonight. Steven then leaves.

 

Wouldn't Richards be pissed about Teddy? He didn't even mention that.

 

Teddy Hart vs. Brian Danielson vs. Super Dragon vs. Jimmy Rave

This match has great spots in it. The first elimination is when Brian

Danielson throws Teddy Hart out of the ring. Jimmy rave is down and

Super Dragon is on the top rope getting ready for a phoenix splash. He

delivers it and goes for the pin. Daniels breaks up the pin and gets

Super Dragon in a Catamuliation. Dragon taps out and that’s the first

elimination. The second elimination happens when Teddy throws

Jimmy Rave into the ropes. Jimmy gets the Dusktilldawn in. Teddy’s

about to tap out until Brian comes breaks it up and gets Jimmy in a

Dragon sleeper. Jimmy taps out and that’s the second elimination.

The last elimination is when Teddy is on the third rope. He tries a hart

attack to Brain who is standing up and when there about to hit Brain

gets Teddy into a armbar. Teddy rolls throw it and gives dragon a stiff

forearm. He goes back to the third rope and goes for the Hart Attack

but this time it’s successful. Teddy Hart is the new ROH Pure Wrestling

Im not trying to argue with anybody but there was a purpose to the dark matches. Its just to take up time before the show actually starts.

Ill try to work on this one. So you know Shelton is the face and Joe is the intense heel. Anyway if you read the first ROH show you would have read after Sheltons promo the crowd popped.

Ok I will try to work on tryng to make it seem ROH not TNA. But Joe and Benjamin aren't fueding. It was just Sheltons first defense and he went against Joe. The intense promos with Joe are just signifying that he really wants that title and he's pissed off.
