Guest Report post Posted April 19, 2002 -Game Show Network: PWTorch.com reader Duane Hand of Staten Island, N.Y. writes: I was watching Match Game '78 on The Game Show Network and there was a guy named Ed White on the show as a contestant. When asked what name he wrestled under he said The Spoiler among others. When asked if it was real, he responded by saying "as real as this show." Then Gene Rayburn (the host) asked him how much he made a night and he said about $120 for 10 minutes work. My question is who was the Spoiler? I remember the name from somewhere but I cant place it. Guest The Great Wesuke Report post Posted April 19, 2002 I believe he was part of the original Legion of Doom, which had The Road Warriors (Hawk/Animal), King Kong Bundy, and I think Jake Roberts. I might be wrong about Roberts, but I'm pretty certain The Spoiler was in there too. I'm guessing it was the AWA, but my memory is foggy. Drugs.

Guest Report post Posted April 23, 2002 Just for the record. The Executioner Tito faced at WrestleMania was Buddy Rose of "blow-away-diet-fame"
Guest JHawk Report post Posted April 23, 2002 Well, the most famous Spoiler was Don Jardine, who wrestled under the mask in a number of places, including in World Class. He also had a WWF run in 1984-1985 after the WWF took over Georgia Championship Wrestling's timeslot on TBS, but outside of a time limit draw with George Wells at the Spectrum didn't do much of note. BTW, in an interesting tidbit, Jardine had a run as the spoiler without the mask in New York (masked wrestlers were banned by the State Athletic Commission) and was Mil Mascaras' opponent when Mascaras became the first masked wrestler to ever appear at Madison Square Garden. This was in the 1970s (1978 if I'm not mistaken). There were several other Spoliers, so this Ed White might have played the part, but I couldn't tell you where. Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted April 23, 2002 According to the Observer, this Spoiler is the same guy who was one of the Moondog's in the WWF.
Guest Report post Posted May 29, 2002 Don Jardine, The Spoiler, also trained The Undertaker, and taught him his famous rope-walking.
