Writing for the new site

If you haven't heard, I've been screening writers for the new site. I have been privileged to read a diverse range of material. I want to thank everyone who has taken the time and effort to submit their work. For prospective writers, if I ask you to submit a second column, please take advantage of the opportunity. I have discovered that the second columns are much better than the original applications.

 

Please interpret any comments I make as constructive criticism and not as an insult. This has become my battle cry the last few weeks and I mean it. The site is looking to attract creative and enthusiastic writers and my feedback is intended to help you, not discourage you.

 

As it stands, I am still accepting applicants and look forward to seeing what you guys have to offer. As a rule of thumb, please be aware of correct spelling, proper grammar, and originality! Also, understand I do not have the final say in who will be selected. I am only the first step in the process. I can't wait to read more of your writing so keep sending those applications in!
