Guest Incandenza Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Hey, it's another BUMP. I really, really hated Mr. Bungle's Disco Volante when I first heard it, on they day it came out back in 1995. I was immature in my musical tastes back then, and I was completely expecting a sequel to their self-titled debut. Instead of the psycho-funk of their first album, I was treated to this bizarre concoction of surf, noise, lounge, jazz, punk, techno and death metal, often within the same the same song. It is easily one of the strangest albums ever released by a major label, and it took me a couple of weeks to realize it wasn't that bad. In fact, it's very, very good, and I still listen to it on occasion, seven years later.

Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Reign In Blood by Slayer. I asked for the disapointment cause I just don't really like thrash metal or whatever you wanna call it, but Good Lord I expected a little satisfaction from it and was de-fuckin-nied. Oh well, thats just me.
Guest papacita Report post Posted October 21, 2002 I liked Wyclef's 2nd album too. I wasn't feeling the Kenny Rogers song, but but everything else was cool. As for most disappointing album...Rule 3:36 by Ja Rule.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Well, out of all of the albums I own that I did not expect to suck, and have not long since given and away and forgotten about, I will have to go with Shangri-La by the Stone Temple Pilots. I used to like STP, but this album was just terrible. I cannot even stand to listen to it anymore. Honourable mention goes to 311's From Chaos and some Verve album I bought a few years ago that I vaguely remember, but sucked so bad that I felt it deserved mention. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted October 21, 2002 *Rips MA's face off for a second time* That's not Slayer's best, IMO, but it's still pretty killer. Check out Divine Intervention, MUCH better in my book. The worst album from a genre I like that I've ever heard is either any Metallica CD, namely ...And Justice for All, and Ride the Lightning, or else any Life of Agony CD not named River Runs Red. Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 21, 2002 Slipknot's first album. Good god. What kind of evil teenage funk made me want to buy it? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted October 21, 2002 i have to admit i like the first few songs of the slipknot album. And i like 'my plague' and 'left behind' too. So there we are. Not that i'd listen to them or anything, but if i'm drunk in a club they get me moshing.
