(Photo: Fred Sherwin, Ottawa Sun) One of the first divas of wrestling says many of the women in the World wrestling Federation haven't got a clue what to do in the ring. "I think it's stupid," Tammy Sytch -- better known as Sunny -- told The Sun from her home in New Jersey. "It's too much. There are way too many girls not knowing what they're doing." Sytch ranked Terri Runnels as one of the best in the business but wasn't as high on some others. "I love Torrie and Stacy, but they don't really know what they're doing -- otherwise they're sweethearts," she said. "One person who I can say is a wonderful person and a great worker is Molly Holly." Sytch and long-time boyfriend Chris Candido, also an ex-WWFer, will hit Doubles Fun Club tomorrow (9 p.m.) for Top Rope Championship wrestling. Sytch, who left the WWF in 1998 after seven years, was the first woman to get a huge push. By 1995, it was estimated fans were downloading her pictures between 3,000 and 5,000 times daily from the WWF site. In 1996, Sunny was the first celebrity in the history of cyberspace to achieve the one-million download mark, leaving Cindy Margolis in the dust. The WWF quickly added Sable and Marlena (Terri), and its female roster has grown to a dozen. Playboy magazine also noticed the demand, featuring Sable and Chyna for a couple of their best-selling issues ever. "(WWF boss) Vince (McMahon) brought the Playboy idea to me, and I said no, I was too young, so they gave it to Sable," Sytch said. "But I had (the offer) first." Just over a year ago, Sytch decided to bare all and launched an X-rated site (www.wrestlingvixxxens. com) with fellow ring queen Missy Hyatt. "Now I'm a little bit older, wiser and I was ready. I'm proud of it," she said. The idea for wrestlingvixxxens. com almost began as a dare. "We were just sitting in (Hyatt's) apartment, and she said 'You know what we haven't done yet?' " Sytch recalled with a laugh. "It's going strong, and I might start off on my own, too." A "workaholic," Sytch keeps busy with her site and doing shows around the world. Would she like to return to the WWF? "Yes, I plan on it," she said. "I have the perfect idea." The WWF is producing some of the most watchable women's matches in the company's history. I don't ever recall Sunny working a match. Three is more like it. i noticed the same thing watching Hulk Hogans E True Hollywood Story. They said that Hogan left the WWF after WrestleMania 9, April 5th 1992. Some of the "divas" do need to stay out of the ring because they have no idea of what they are doing inthere. She never said she did either. And she praised Molly, whom we all love. I think that if we can sit here and judge workers, she's more than qualified to do so, since she's been closer to the business than most of us ever will be. I mean, when she was on Excess(and me and those other 2 guys were watching) you could see the friendship she had with basically every one that came on the show, you have never heard a bad thing about her and she just STAYS employed. She even had a hand in getting Goldust rehired(aka she must have a little pull) Didn't one of the wrestlers give her away at her wedding??? I first saw her in the Summer of 1995 I think. My friend Chris and I went to a Raw at the Louisville Gardens in July 1995. It had an early Skip and Sunny appearance and Chris remarked: "You know, this guy sucks but I like his girlfriend." I mean, I guess she is right about some of the WWF women, but it's just amusing she would say it.
