This is an old post that I did on the old forum, but I decided to repost it here. I've been re-booking the WWF my way, from 1988 up until the present. The reason for this is because I've decided to go back to when the Monday Night Wars started in 1995 and redo what I have previously done, and start including the Raws that led up the PPV's. I'm posting my old pieces to show everyone how things got to where they did. As far as the booking goes, some of the things that I have listed really did happen, and I have changed some. So enjoy. I'd appreciate any comments, or suggestions.

 

1988 ROYAL RUMBLE

The Hart Foundation defeated WWF tag team champions Rick Martel & Tito Santana to regain the title. Rick Rude defeated Paul Orndorff. Ted DiBiase defeated WWF Champion Hulk Hogan by count out. Randy Savage won a 20-man Royal Rumble match. Other participants included: Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Andre the Giant, The One Man Gang, Bam Bam Bigelow, Demolition Ax, Demolition Smash, Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Tito Santana, Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, Don Muraco, Dino Bravo, Bad News Brown, Davey Boy Smith, The Dynamite Kid, Hercules, The Ultimate Warrior & The Honky Tonk Man

 

THE MAIN EVENT

Randy Savage defeated WWF Intercontinental champion The Honky Tonk Man to win the title. Andre the Giant defeated WWF Champion Hulk Hogan to win the title. WWF tag team champions The Hart Foundation defeated The Rougeau Brothers.

 

Andre the Giant awarded the WWF Championship over to Ted DiBiase. President Jack Tunney later declared the title vacant, because a wrestler can not awarded his title to another wrestler. A tournament was then set up to take place at WrestleMania to crown a new champion.

 

SATURDAY NIGHT?S MAIN EVENT

WWF Intercontinental champion Randy Savage defeated Rick Rude by disqualification. Demolition defeated Tito Santana & Rick Martel. Ted DiBiase defeated Ricky Steamboat. Hulk Hogan defeated The One Man Gang by disqualification.

 

WRESTLEMANIA IV

Non-Tournament matches: The Rougeau Brothers defeated WWF tag team champions The Hart Foundation in a 2/3 Falls match to win the title. The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hercules. The British Bulldogs defeated The Islanders. WWF Intercontinental champion Randy Savage defeated The Honky Tonk Man in a Steel Cage match. WWF title Tournament matches 1st Round: Hulk Hogan defeated Harley Race. Andre the Giant defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Ricky Steamboat defeated Rick Rude. Ted DiBiase defeated Don Muraco. Semi-Finals: Hulk Hogan defeated Andre the Giant by disqualification. Ted DiBiase defeated Ricky Steamboat: WWF title Finals: Ted DiBiase defeated Hulk Hogan to win the vacant WWF Championship.

 

SATURDAY NIGHT?S MAIN EVENT

The Islanders defeated The Killer Bees. WWF Intercontinental champion Randy Savage defeated The One Man Gang. Brutus Beefcake defeated Rick Rude. Demolition defeated WWF tag team champions The Rougeau Brothers to win the titles.

 

The Honky Tonk Man regained the WWF Intercontinental title from Randy Savage two weeks after this event.

Brutus Beefcake defeated WWF Intercontinental champion The Honky Tonk Man by count out. WWF tag team champions Demolition defeated The British Bulldogs. The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hercules & Bobby Heenan in a Handicap match. Hulk Hogan & Randy Savage defeated Ted DiBiase & Andre the Giant when Savage pinned DiBiase.

of Pain defeated The Bolsheviks. Hulk Hogan defeated Andre the Giant in a Steel Cage match. WWF Intercontinental champion The Honky Tonk Man defeated Brutus Beefcake. The Ultimate Warrior defeated Haku. Randy Savage defeated WWF Champion Ted DiBiase to win the title.

WWF Intercontinental champion The Ultimate Warrior defeated The Honky Tonk Man. Andre the Giant, Rick Rude, Harley Race, Dino Bravo & Curt Hennig defeated Jake Roberts, Brutus Beefcake, The Blue Blazer, Tito Santana & Rick Martel in an Elimination match. The Powers of Pain defeated WWF tag team champions Demolition to win the titles after Mr. Fuji turned on Demolition. Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Don Muraco, Koko B.
