Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 8, 2004 Credit to reader Chris Reid for the following: I just thought i would let you know Chris Benoit was on the Canadian version of MTV, Much Music on April 7th. He was talking to the two hosts, Amanada and Rick, and everyone in the audiance wanted Benoit to give Rick the crossface. But Rick said hes been training and showed pictures of Chris Benoit with his face on it. He then challenged Rick to a thumb wrestling match for the world heavyweight championship, and Beniot said he would have to beat Amanada to get a title shot. He lost bad, then the audiance were chanting "Crossface, Crossface" then Rick ran away. It was pretty funny. Thanks to reader Karl Jurski for the following: In this month's issue of FLEX magazine (April 2004) there is a small article about Lenda Murray (Ms. Olympia on numerous occasions) and her quest to becoming a pro wrestler. Lenda says pro wrestling is something she wants to pursue, and she even attended a WWE training camp, invited by Stephanie McMahon. "Training at the camp is one of the greatest challenges I've ever had as an athlete." This goes to show that pro wrestling is not just another show, but a real sport.
