Yeah so my laptop randomly turns off every few hours randomly...is there any reason why? what can i do to prevent this, thanks in advance

Is it an older piece? If it is, my first thought would be that the processor is running too hot. I had that problem with an old one I had. Son of a bitch left a nice red mark on my leg once.

Have you checked your settings? My laptop is programmed to shut itself off if it sits idle for too long. Just a thought.
