Just found out that legend Wahoo McDaniel passed away last night. My first exposure to Wahoo was in the mid 80's so I missed him in his prime, but boy did this guy bleed. He loved the Indian starp matches. True icon of the sport. RIP Wahoo.

He was one of the top draws of the 60's and 70's. Also a good pro football player.

That's too bad. A wrestling legend that many of the younger fans don't remember, but he is a legend.

R.I.P. Wahoo.  He was one of the greatest United States Heavyweight Champions ever.  He made that belt seem like it was worth something.

Yeah I never knew until my dad mentioned to me that he was a pro football player. My dad was upset about Wahoo dying, too because he was around when my dad was a kid.

Thanks.

Don't know much about him, but I've heard of him. So, just out of a respect for him, I'll say

RIP Wahoo McDaniel

only have 2 matches of him.

Vs. "Playboy" Buddy Rose

and

Him, Andre The Giant, Billy Whitewolf Vs. Executioners & Bruiser Brody.

Plus him on now and then in 1993-1994.

He was great as a heel US Champion in 85.  Match where Magnum beat him in the cage is ace.

RIP Champ.
