LucharesuFan619 Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Are they now the new PWF Tag Champs? They beat the guys who were the champs, Hidaka & Fujita, but was that a title match or not? Anyone attend the show and have any idea? Whose the champions now?
JustJoe2k5 Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 That match was for the NWA International Light Heavyweight Tag Team titles I believe, which Low Ki and Spanky won from Ikuto Hidaka and Minoru Fujita a while ago in Japan. I think Ikuto Hidaka and Minoru Fujita are still PWF Tag Team champs.
Guest NANIWA* Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Actually, Low-Ki & Spanky won the NWA International Light Heavyweight Tag Team titles from Dick Togo & Ikuto Hidaka...
JustJoe2k5 Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 NANIWA*, did something happen to Dick Togo because now all I see is Ikuto Hidaka teaming up with Minoru Fujita as the Far East Connection, did they have to replace Dick Togo in the team or is the FEC a three-man team now?
Guest NANIWA* Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Well, the FEC may be no more. Hidaka split with Togo and the other members of the FEC on a recent M-Pro show, and reformed his old BattlARTS team with buddy Minoru Fujita who recently returned to the promotion. So I’m not really sure what the state of the FEC is in at the moment...
Guest netslob Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 NWA International Light Heavyweight Tag Team titles cripes, that's a mouthful...i don't envy any announcer who has to say it "...and NEW, NWA International Light Heavyweight Tag Team *gasp* Champions..."
Guest Real F'n Show Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 A little off topic, but is Ki and Spanky's "King of the World" move the same thing that London and Spanky used as a tag finish in the WWE?
Guest Joe_G Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 A little off topic, but is Ki and Spanky's "King of the World" move the same thing that London and Spanky used as a tag finish in the WWE? Nope. London and Spanky used an enziguiri/Flatliner combo. The King of the World is a Sliced Bread #2 with the opponent on Low Ki's shoulders.
DangerousDamon Posted April 15, 2004 Report Posted April 15, 2004 A little off topic, but is Ki and Spanky's "King of the World" move the same thing that London and Spanky used as a tag finish in the WWE? Nope. London and Spanky used an enziguiri/Flatliner combo. The King of the World is a Sliced Bread #2 with the opponent on Low Ki's shoulders. I'm having a hard time visualizing this. Do you have a pic or a video clip?
Guest Joe_G Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 The photo's blurry, but check this out.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 That move looks pretty damn cool. That looks like one hell of a move.
