Anyway, had some questions about the life and times of WWF Dude. 1) I know his first match in WWF (as Dude Love, that is) was teaming up with Austin against British Bulldog and Owen Hart for the then vacent tag team titles. What was Dude Love's second match and, if still a tag match, what was Dude's first singles bout? 2) Before Dude's "return" a little bit after WrestleMania 14, what was Dude Love's last televised match? 3) Did they ever on camera refer to Dude Love's version of the Mandible Claw as the Love Handle or no? 4) How long did Stevie Richards and Blue Meanie "Borrow" the Dude Love gimmick for? I do remember Meanie dressed as Dude Love during a Blackman/Richards match. 5) When was the first time Dude Love used "Sweet Shin Music"? Thanks in advance. I do remember Meanie dressed as Dude Love during a Blackman/Richards match. 5) When was the first time Dude Love used "Sweet Shin Music"? Thanks in advance. 4. Stevie borrowed it for 1, possibly 2 shows. He had a gimmick where he would immitate everyones gimmicks- I clearly remember a Stevie Dudley and Stevie as an Acolyte (complete with the UPN logo on his chest.) I believe Stevie wrestled Val Venis as Dude Love....or possibly teamed with Foley against the Dudley Boyz- I'm thinking the latter as I remember an odd Dude Love/Mankind tag team. I believe Meanie was "phased out" by then 5. I'm not positive- but it may have been in a match against Owen Hart. Well, it was his Double Arm DDT that they called the Love Handle, and yes it was referred to as that during at least his face run, not sure about the heel run but I don't think so. Funny..."Have a Nice Day" had Foley saying the Claw was the Love Handle. IIRC, that's also how they referred to it in the WrestleMania 2000 game player's guide. They were all tag matches until this: WWF @ Bethlehem, PA - August 4, 1997 Raw is War: WWF Tag Team Champion Dude Love pinned Owen Hart after Steve Austin interfered and hit Owen with his own Slammy trophy; Bret Hart, who was doing guest commentary for the bout, interfered on behalf of Owen moments earlier - which prompted Austin to come ringside 2) The 1998 Royal Rumble 5) This is the first for-sure instance of him using it: WWF @ Chicago, IL - Rosemont Horizon - August 23, 1997 Friday Night's Main Event: 8/29/97: WWF Tag Team Champion Dude Love pinned Rockabilly with the Sweet Shin Music and the double arm DDT Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
