Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2002 In one of my old Nintendo Power issues from 1994, there is an article about games that never made it to America. Here's the stupid part: some company in Japan made a game about the 1988 U.S. presidental election and guess what? They didn't release in America for the NES. Now if it's about the U.S. then it deserves to be played by the American gamers. This is only my opinion, but I think Japanese video game companies act like racists sometimes. I hope somebody does something about these racist companies. Nintendo treats Europeans poorly. For example they never released Super Mario RPG there. That's just not right. Please don't flame because it's just my opinion. You don't have to agree with me. Don't call me racist because I'm not and I don't hate the Japanese. It's just that I'm upset. Guest Bosstones Fan Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Dude, call me crazy if you want, but I think any game featuring Michael Dukakis would suck an incredible amount of ass. I, for one, am glad we DIDN'T get "Election '88" (or whatever the hell it was called) over here. And Mario RPG sucked, too. Europe is lucky.

Guest Report post Posted April 21, 2002 And Mario RPG sucked, too. I liked Super Mario RPG. I like it because it was on the Super Nintendo and not Nintendo 64 and because Super NES is a classic system.

And Mario RPG sucked, too. Europe is lucky. Some stuff didn't quite make sense (like Bowser & Mario on the smae team), but it really wasn't that bad. It's just that there are so many better SNES RPG's (Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, FFV, FFVI) than that.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted April 25, 2002 Actually, I thought Super Mario RPG was a really great "cross-over" RPG, as it mixed some great platforming stuff with a really intuitive and fun battle system. Sure, it doesn't deserve to carry the jock of some of the other RPGs from Square at the time, but it was still well thought out for the Mario universe. Just saying. Not only that, but if you play paper mario first then Mario RPG will look like the greatest game of all time compared to that steaming pile of shit.

Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted May 1, 2002 Mario games I wanted to play but never got to: Dr. Mario Mario Land 2 Mario in Time Mario is Missing (Luigi was my favorite) 2 questions: What exactly was paper mario? What was the deal with Wario? Who was he supposed to be? If he was a villain, then why give him his own game?

Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted May 1, 2002 The game would have had Jesse Jackson though, which offsets Dukakis. I would buy a game that would let me be Jesse Jackson as long as it wasn't a handheld game like that WWF action/adventure game.

He could be in a tank and you could be driving him up and down Pennsylvania Avenue freeing Willie Hortons. I'd buy a Jesse Jackson-related game if it meant killing him. Or perhaps playing a Sims-like game of him where you try to build houses for your mistresses and love children while trying to avoid the public eye.
Guest alfdogg Report post Posted May 1, 2002 Mario Land 2 was easy. I bought it without ever playing it and had it beat in 3 days.
