I dont think Bush is an idiot... I've called him that sometimes, and I often make fun of him, but in reality, I dont think he's a complete fucking moron... everything I've ever read of him states that he's a political animal, trained by the best... his grammar is horrible, but he's a Texan so thats to be expected.

 

I just think he's easily manipulated and isnt fully in control. He comes across like a moron most of the time, which is why he rarely does press conferences, and likely won't do another Russert interview, but that doesnt make him a complete moron

I wouldn't say that he's dumb or anything. Just that he's a poor public speaker, and it was a bad idea to hold a press conference.

 

I have no doubts that he's a nice guy though.

You have to realize that he's from Texas. You gotta put it in context.

Anyways, GW is a Baseball fan too, so that works out for him.
