Audio program...

I am taking Radio Production 2 and I need to produce some stuff for the class. I haven't done anything yet this semester, and I promised my Prof. I would get some stuff done by next wee.

 

Does anyone know a good program for producing stuff?

CoolEdit 97/2000 are a little old, but I used to do a lot of radio production in Cool Edit, particularly the 97 version. This was, of course, back in 97-98, but it was able to stretch/strink without shifting pitch really well, and was very easy to use.
