Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2002 -Really put over "The Scorpion King" and said that the Rock is scheduled to return to Smackdown in June as of now. -There is talk of putting together a WWF Divas Lingerie magazine that could be released this fall. -Put over RVD and said he is well on his way to long term main event status. He would like to hear RVD talk more though. -Put over Bradshaw and said that he is one of the WWF's most intelligent performers. -Put over Bubba Ray Dudley's new character. -Said that D-Lo is ready to return. -Put over Steven Richards and said that he is dedicated to his career. -Said that both Kim Neilsen and Dawn Marie need more work in the ring and the gym before they are ready for the level that the WWF wants them at. -On the Rock, he said that he will balance his movie career with the WWF. Obviously the Rock will not be on WWF TV everyweek but, says JR, in the long run that will be a positive thing. -Speculated that Randy Orton could be the next "big thing." -JR will be doing an interview with Sports Illustrated about mainstream athletes in the WWF. -The WWF may take a look at Stevie Ray soon. Why would WWF look at Ray? He isn't even INTENSE.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Eh, I won't really miss The Rock that much. If he wants Hollywood so bad, let him have it... As for Stevie Ray, maybe that could lead to a Harlem Heat reunion and a push (*gasp*) for Booker T. I somehow doubt it though. Putting over Bradshaw, eh? I guess Bradshaw is taking Kane's place as the new big man/monster face on RAW against the nWo. Though I'm admittedly not a Bradshaw fan, maybe they could do something with him so I would be. Same thing with Steven Richards. I can't wait for D'Lo's return. I've never seen him wrestle before and I've heard he was really good before the Droz tragedy. And for Randy Orton, at the risk of sounding stupid or uninformed... who?
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted April 20, 2002 This actually belongs in the WWF folder.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted April 20, 2002 I hope Stevie Ray makes a comeback. I loved him as a commentator in WCW.
Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2002 "Froot Booty" "Lookit this yak..." "Yo Cole, lemme ax you a question..." Yup, the WWF could use a little Stevie Ray commentary .
Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2002 I'll believe it when I see it. That's my blanket reaction to anything on The Pravda Report from the WWF's Minister of Propaganda and Misinformation, Jim Ross. I like to believe that RVD is destined for future main event status...but then, once upon a time, I liked to believe in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus, too. Guest godthedog Report post Posted April 20, 2002 great thread title.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Oh man, I'd love to have Stevie Ray on commentary.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted April 20, 2002 If they put him on commentary it would be great. I can imagine him ripping Michael Cole up. Calling Michale Cole a 'fruit booty" would be worth having to listen to Michael Cole the rest of the sure (well maybe not)
Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Yeah, it'd be good to have him on commentary, but nothing else. I saw him on WWA Eruption....~! recently and he was a tubby chubby to say the least.
Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2002 There's one positive I see in Stevie Ray being used in a commentary position: after a couple weeks of him, everyone will LOVE Michaels Cole!
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 20, 2002 D-Lo & Stevie Ray as Harlem Heat 2000 - You better Recognize Fruity Bootys Oh no here comes Cowboy Bob Ortons baby boy who play football at blah blah blah. Does anybody else fear a potential Natural Born Thrillers rerun with the OVA talent being managed by Paul E?
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted April 20, 2002 maybe stevfie ray is gonna color with cole, o man that could be hilarious

Guest buffybeast Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Ugh, I can't stand Stevie Ray. He is useless in the ring and is horrible at the commentating table. Why does WWF want him at all?
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Stevie Ray will find a way to work in a rest hold in a 2 minute Raw match.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Keep Stevie Ray far away from the ring. That's all I ask. Far, far away. DO NOT let him wrestle!
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Why GOD why must there always be a fresh new way to screw up booker's career?
Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2002 God damit! Why can't they just bring HBK back already!? If they can get Mr. Perfect back why can't they get HBK back!? Hu? Hu? Hu!?
Guest Report post Posted April 20, 2002 At least Ray will be "entertaining" on color commentary.
Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted April 21, 2002 I'd rather see Stevie Ray than Michaels, at least his commentary was funny and enlivened many a shitty WCW show. Just don't let him wrestle.
Guest alfdogg Report post Posted April 21, 2002 I'd much rather see Stevie Ray than Test.
Guest Report post Posted April 21, 2002 *White stereotypical of blacks mode on* Stevie Ray is my hero, and um...you shouldn't make fun of him because he's black and stupid. *White stereotypical of blacks mode off* But seriously, when he starts calling Torrie Wilson, Stacy Kiebler, and all the women in the Women's Divisions YAKS~!, then I'm gonna mark like CA-RAZY man, because he's better a COLOR commentator than Michael Cole is a play-by-play man. But of course, that's just MY opinion, I could be wrong.
Guest RickyB Report post Posted April 21, 2002 Well we could get Harlem Heat back, they are an established team and they could improve the WWF Tag Team Division, he is a great commentator too. But if they are looking for commentators then they should get the Disco Inferno.
Guest Report post Posted April 21, 2002 If they need a color commentator then they should just use Mr. Perfect.

Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted April 21, 2002 As a color commentator, bring him in. Hilarity. If he wrestles and makes it to the RAW Brand, you can say goodbye to any credibility of Booker T ever again. Stevie isn't much of a wrestler, no one takes him as a credible threat to the belt, and to stick him with his much more talented brother again , it's called burying Booker. Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted April 21, 2002 Mr. Perfect would be an excellent Smackdown color commentator. Imagine the shots he would take at Michael Cole. It's too bad Bobby "The Brain" Heenan contracted cancer, otherwise we could've seen a nice return from a true managerial legend.......
