My problem with Austin stunnering Stacy wasn't because she was a woman, but because she was a woman would *wouldn't drink with him*.  Then, the next week, she did.  Moral of the story?

i believe the moral is: "Do what i tell you, bitch, or I'll pop you one". funny how life imitates art, hmmm?

good riddance. yeah, you read that right. GOOD RIDDANCE. and if none of his apologists like that, oh well, them's the brakes. i don't care that he "helped bring wrestling into a new era". i don't care if he held mid-carders down. i don't care that he and Vince can't reach an agreement. i don't care if he drew money, put asses in seats, made the crowd pop or sold shit-loads of merchandise.

the reason i hate Steve Austin is very simple: he beats women. and to me, that makes him the lowest form of life on the planet, plain and simple. every time i see him, or hear or read his name, i am reminded of that. it makes me sick. HE makes me sick. and nothing anyone can say will change that.

and do you know what really pisses me off about that whole Stacy segment? when he hit her with the stunner, the crowd popped. huge. THAT'S the scary part.

So after all of this, does Austin own the "Stone Cold" name?

Austin's WWE contract has expired, which explains why he hasn't been on television for two weeks. The sides can't agree on who should own the rights to the "Stone Cold" name. WWE trademarked it; Austin came up with it, made it famous and offered marketing ideas for it.

I found this tidbit through a non-traditional news source so take it for what its worth.

Interesting Article on JBL, Austin tidbit at the bottom..

As far as I know, Austin owns "Stone Cold", if I read the sitution right, Austin owned it but WWE wanted to own a percentage of it or all of it so then could get some cut of whatever Austin did IF he used the name of "Stone Cold". That seems to be Austin's new lawyers beef. I think WWE wanted a 50/50 deal while the lawyer wanted to lesson the percentage.
