Benoit and Bashams to wrestle in OVW

WWE World champion Chris Benoit and The Basham Brothers will be working for World Wrestling Entertainment developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling on 5/21 at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom in the Paramax Arena. Benoit will be facing OVW champion Matt Morgan, who was sent back down to OVW for more seasoning. The Bashams, longtime OVW regulars before moving up to Smackdown, will face Brent Albright & Chris Masters. OVW also has dates at the park on 6/4, 6/18, 7/9, 7/23 and 8/13. WP -- So is Morgan face or heel right now? I'd like to check this match out. I don't see any more information on the site yet though.

Morgan is a babyface in OVW, always has been. He's recently replaced Sean O'haire as a member of the stable known as The Equalizers (also made up of Johnny Jeter, Chris Cage and Tank Toland). They are feuding with the top heel stable Team Impact, which is made up of Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore, Mark Magnus, Brent Albright and Chris Masters.

The Bashams will probably work as faces too, Danny is still massively popular in the area due to his history as The Damaja, while Doug has been a face in OVW since last July.

I'm just wondering when Morgan won the OVW title, as I was still under the impression that Dinsmore was the champ.

Nick Dinsmore still is OVW champ. But I guess he won't be come May 21st. I'd like to see how Morgan does with Benoit actually. He's certainly got a lot of potential, I think they just jumped the gun with bringing him up to the main roster last November.
