Guest Nanks Report post Posted April 21, 2004 Controversial Australian snooker player Quinten Hann has offered English rival Andy Hicks $125,000 to face him in the boxing ring, according to a report in Britain's Sun newspaper. Hicks beat Hann 10-4 in a fiery first-round encounter in the world championships on Sunday, when the pair had to be dragged apart by the referee after they exchanged insults throughout the match. "He can have me anywhere, any time - a challenge for £50,000 or whatever he wants. In the ring or over a single frame of snooker," said Hann. "I'm not that fit but I fancy I could take him on and I am ready and waiting. I've done a bit of boxing in the past." Hann said he blew his top over Hicks's gamesmanship and unsporting behaviour at the end of Sunday's match. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's sensational!!
