Then I heard their new single "Float On" and i've been listening to it all week. Song of the year so far, without a doubt. So i downloaded more stuff off the new album, "Good News For People Who Hate Bad News" and it seems like a worthy buy.

I like it and the new album quite a bit, but will always point to The Lonesome Crowded West as their best work to this point. If you like the new album, check out "Polar Opposites," "Heart Cooks Brain," and "Teeth Like God's Shoeshine." Those'll give you a pretty representative feel of some of their best earlier stuff.
Jorge Gorgeous Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 The Fruit That Ate Itself is reaaaaaaaaaal good, as well. Edwin is dead on with The Lonesome Crowded West , its a great album from start to finish.
