CLINTONS FORMER WRESTLING FANS, RAW PREEMPTION THIS MONDAY, AUSTIN, RVD AND MORE

 

Current Senator and former First Lady Hillary Clinton was quoted in the Washington Post today as saying that she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, are former wrestling fans. She said that they used to watch it “all the time”. Clinton did an interview with WWE TV during a Smackdown Your Vote rally in Washington yesterday. To read the story, click here.

 

Adam Lunau and Adam Lebow sent word that due to Stanley Cup hockey on Monday, Canadian viewers will not see Raw on Monday night at its regular time. Instead, it will air on Monday at midnight ET/9pm PT and Tuesday, April 27 at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

 

As a bit of follow up from yesterday, Tim White has been working as an agent for WWE for a while now. He works with the buildings on the shows.

 

Rob Van Dam actually missed Monday’s Smackdown house show because he was in Kelowna, BC promoting Smackdown.

 

A number of people have sent emails saying that WWE is having a half price sale on Steve Austin merchandise at Shopzone. Ouch, that hurts, especially when you consider that Austin merch is usually their highest seller.
