Fuel

Recommended Posts

Any Fuelies on the board? The new album isn't getting much exposure up here in Canada. Although I guess it's not in the States either. It's not their best album but there's some decent single worthy tracks that i thought would be getting some airtime. Thoughts?

I would like to know if they're actually called that, or if you made that up.

As far as what I think, they've done some fair stuff, but I don't know enough to discuss the latest album.

I loathe Fuel and every other generic rock band.

There is one Pearl Jam. One.

I have it. I like Falls on Me, Million Miles, Most of All, and Die Like This.

You'll get no arguement from me that this is their worst album, but still a few good songs. Yet, no Shimmer.

I like some generic bands and Fuel is one of them. Not everyone needs to reinvent the wheel and come out with some new sound, image or gimmick.

Just some straight cut rock is nice at times.

Just want to check, is this the same band who were known as Fuel 238 in the UK? They had a great song called "Jesus Or A Gun" if that helps. If so, I saw them supporting Silverchair in Manchester once and they were fantastic and a shitload better than Silverchair were. If not, then sorry to have bumbled falsely into this conversation :)

The Fuel that's being talked about in this thread does indeed have a song called "Jesus Or A Gun" on their first CD, so I'm guessing they're the same band since the odds of two different bands with similar names having a song with the exact same name are pretty slim.

Not when top 40 rock is involved.

Fuel and Three Doors Down need to run into each other and cancel each other out.
