Guest bcu1979 Report post Posted April 21, 2002 Tom Zenk's latest column on his website has some interesting tidbits as usual. Does anyone know who the blond guy is in the picture on the lower left? I recognized all the WWF developmental guys but that one. I guess the point of the pictures was to take a jab at David Flair for looking out of place among the roid freaks. I also didn't get what was so funny about Ric Flair being the referee for the Taker/Austin match. Zenk seemed to imply it was part rib/part vindictive booking. But I couldn't figure out what the big deal was and Zenk can be more cryptic than Meltzer at times. And I know it's low, but I can't help but laugh everytime he compares Stephanie to Dusty Rhodes. Zenk comented on the politicing that will go on with Rock out until June. He called Rock's comments on ESPN about jealous wrestlers a "preemptive strike" on Triple H and that the speculation was that Triple H would retaliate by going after Chris Jericho (a known Rock ally). He also mentioned that the Hardy's feud with Brock Lesnar was punishment for "bucking the system" and he compared it to a match he had with Vader. Does anyone remember the story behind that match? And I wonder what exactly the Hardys did that put them in the doghouse so bad. It has to be more than just having a bad match on PPV. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
