Anyone else like this comic series? Anyways, issue 21 is pretty good. Goblin is supposed to be back next issue and is supposed to transform out of his "Hulk" state. I also hear Venom will be coming to the USM series soon.

I've been collecting Ultimate Spidey since Issue 13, its a bitch to get some of the issues before that.

Yeah, Venom should come MUCH later. I wonder how they'd introduce the character w/o using a Secret Wars-type storyline.

 

Karnage: Just do what I did and get the TPB. It's hard to get old issues of Marvel stuff because of the no overprint policy.

Been collecting the series since day one.  Overall, I'd rate it very highly; Bendis is great as a writer here, and Bagley's art is pretty good.  My only complaint thus far is that Bendis seems to drag out the story a bit to cover more issues, but that's minor.

Bendis said that Venom would be the character to change from the origonal the most.

I've been collecting since the first issue. It's the only place I can get my Spider-Man fix, since the Ongoings are inaccesible. Anywhoo, I thought Bendis said he wasn't going to deal with Venom. I could be wrong, and probably am, but I seem to remember him saying that.

Beginning in December’s issue, Bendis said that he’s recanted slightly on his stance, and that the Ultimate version of Venom will appear. Adding that he and Bill Jemas had a long discussion and finally came up with a version of Venom that would logically fit into the world that Bendis has created in Ultimate Spider-Man, Bendis said that the storyline may involve Peter Parker’s father.

 

So, we were both right. Is Peter's dad going to be Venom? Or will Venom be one of the genetic mutations Justin Hammer was working on before his death?
