WWE cracking down on tape trading

Recommended Posts

I think Tape Traders are pretty worthless. They add nothing to growing companies, steal revenue from growing companies, and generally disrespect the business.

Good for WWE.

This is why you have no clue what you are talking about. Tape Traders are valuable to everyone that watches wrestling(or at least they should) because the simple fact that if it was for traders you wouldn't have some matches(handhelds for example) to watch or even own. ALso they help growing companies because of word or mouth and "traders" don't steal money from companies because they don't charge you for anything, especially if it's something they have no plan of releasing commercially to make money off of. Also, I resent the fact that you think that tape traders generally disrespect the business. Everyone that I've ever met or spoken to that is a trader absolutely loves the business. The stuff traders do is NOT easy work, they spend hours collecting, making, and distributing tapes and all for the love of the sport, NOT TO MAKE MONEY. PERIOD.

As it stands now without Sellers and buyers on Ebay and other places who sell older material we couldn't get or see regularly because the WWE as it stands doesn't in history but the present and future. until this 24/7 business starts up we probably wouldn't have known stuff that happen before 98 ( or at least SS 97)
