Guest TheCrowCall Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 Hey all, I was watching "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" yesterday (which rocks by the way), and was wondering, during the parade scene, the two songs that Ferris sings are: 1. Duncashane 2. Twist and Shout Does anyone happen to know the artists of these two songs? Any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry if I spelled the first song wrong. Thanks very much in advance! ~ Pac
BUTT Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 The first song, which I believe is spelled "Danke Schoen" (it's pretty close to that anyway) is the signature song of Wayne Newton. "Twist and Shout" was made famous by the Beatles, although I'm not sure if they wrote it or not.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 "Twist and Shout" was actually first made famous by the Isley Brothers in 1962 (the guys who also did "Shout," if you'll remember). 80's movies were good to them.
