I'm interstead on how this poll is done. Since most of the champs in the poll held the titles in an ERA ('80s) where there were many great tag teams. So great the NWA/WCW were able to create another tag title without hurting the quality of their World Tag title matches.

So who's the best?

I picked the Midnight Express.

I was too young to remember much about Eaton & Condrey...so Lane & Eaton is what I'm used to.

I picked them primarily because, when I think of (or see) some good old fashoined heel tag team double teams...I think of the Midnight Express.

I also voted for ME. Eaton & Condrey were good, but I enjoyed the Eaton & Lane version better. The Midnight's & Jim Cornette were awesome together. They had a sucky run as babyfaces in '89, but tore the place up as heels. Plus, their theme music was one of the greatest of all time. Too bad the Midnight's split in 1990. One of the greatest teams ever.

Has to be the Midnights. To me, they epitomized those titles, and it fit with them perfectly. That should have been their title, so to speak, and let the Road Warriors have the World tag straps. Didn't quite work out that way, but it was still a good time for their tag division.

Speaking out the Word Tag team title, did the Midnight Express ever win them? I can't seem to remember them ever winning the World straps, which would be amazing considering the were one of the best.

Yeah, the Midnight Express unceremoniously defeated a departing Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard for the World Tag Team titles in 1988 and later dropped them to the Road Warriors.

I always thought that Greg Valentine and Terry Taylor were a great U.S. tag division level team in 1992 and were exemplatory of what the division was about.

I remember Greg "The Hammer" Valentine & The Taylor-Made Man (Poor Terry Taylor) holding the U.S. titles in 1992 and were pretty good. The last good U.S. tag champs. The titles started to get phrased out after they lost to the Freebirds at Wrestle War '92.

I'd have to give the nod to the Midnight Express nobody was better than them in their era from the ***** matches with the Fantastics through the feud with Pillman and Zenk they were THE tag-team in the NWA.

I'd give an honorable mention to the Steiners due to their dominance,Did anybody see them dismantle Maximum Overdrive at Clash XII,and besides before they vacated the titles they held the WCW world,U.S.,and IWGP tag titles pretty impressive

I remember the Steiner's squashing Maximum Overdrive at the Clash. The match they won the IWGP was very good as well.

I liked all those teams, except for maybe Slater and the Barbarian, but nobody touches the Midnight Express.
