Mine was in WCW when Jericho feuded with Malenkop and called himself the man of 1002 holds and listed them. Funny thing was they went to commercial and they came back and Jericho was still listing them There was a good ECW skit when the Baldies came out and calimed they where the best. New Jack came out and kicked all thier asses but then got his ass kicked. Then Mike Awesome came out and took out the Baldies then said how he was the true giant of ECW then out comes SPike with the Acid Drop. Good shit Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted April 21, 2002 The Rock/Hogan promo leading up to Wrestlemania was very well done, as were all the Rock/Jericho promo's. Then again, almost all of Rock's stuff from the past few years has been gold. My favorite of his would probably have to be the "Benoit will never be on the cover Gentelman's Quaterly" promo. Good stuff. Flair's promo's are always good, the best one I can remember from recently being the one he cut on the last WCW Nitro about Vince not being able to own any of the wreslters. Another one I remember was when he, Bobby, Arn, and Benoit re-formed the Horsemen at Great American Bash '96. Total mark out moment for me. Foley's stuff in all three promotions was great. Cactus's promo on Vader after the horrid amnesia angle was still fantastic stuff, and all of the Cactus promo's in ECW were amazing. The Mankind/JR interviews were all phenominal as were his final Cactus interviews before his retirement. Piper has to be mentioned for all his Piper's Pit segments, too, which pretty much defined how a heel was supposed to speak. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Report post Posted April 21, 2002 Heyman's "sports entertainment vs. wrestling" promo was classic. Austin creating Austin 3:16 at KOR96. He had just belittled Jake the Snake and he was actually getting a decent pop. I think that's when Vince realized he was sitting on a gold mine. Jericho's Man of 1004 Holds. Bret Hart's shoot on Raw in 97 after the cage match with Sid. I loved the Undertaker's early stuff, he hardly went over a few sentences yet left an impact. Can't forget the Ultimate Warrior promos. He would pace around in the back while the interview guy was talking then come forward and say "AHHHHHHHHH! <insert ramblings here>ULTIMATE WARRIOR! <more ramblings>ALL MY LITTLE WARRIORS! AHHHH!". Guest FakeRazor Report post Posted April 21, 2002 Heyman on Vince was classic. It basically was Heyman saying exactly how all of us in the smark community feel. It was like our feelings were finally brought to Vince's attention, and he couldn't ignore it. It was great. I really dug Jake Roberts' promo at Wrestlemania 6 for some reason. Shows how charasmatic and creepy Jake really could be. Wrestlemania 6 also contains the downright weird Warrior and Hogan promos... Flair's promos are almost always good. The way he shoves all that out of the way and goes straight down to business is great as well. And Ric Flair was stylin and profilin like a maniac after he beat vince at the rumble. Austin cut some blinders last year, especially with kurt and regal. It's a shame they didn't get more out of foley and regal, that would be the ultimate skit-com. I also liked just about every promo Rock and Jericho have done together, from Jericho's debut to present. One of my favs was that one from Raw in October 99 where some guy came out of the crowd dressed like Jericho and security tackled him. Then Rock got on the mic and said "get your jerk off dad out of the ring". All of their promos leading up to No Mercy were good, and the one before the Rumble about Jericho being a transitional champion was great too. Hell, they're the probably the only two people in the WWF today who can always make me mark out. Also, I loved Heyman's promo against McMahon. ECW: The RVD/Sabu/Fonzie promos from 98. The funniest one was when Rob told Sabu "What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine too" refering to their title belts. Also, I liked Mick Foley's "I'm Hardcore" promo, and Taz and the Franchise were always vicious on the mic. WCW: Well...I kinda boycotted WCW after I fell asleep at a Thunder in June 98, and nothing really stands out in my mind about them other than Sting's anti-Hogan promo after Bash at the Beach 96.
