Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted May 10, 2004 If anyone is interested in the results, here you go: AJ Styles defeated Christopher Daniels with a lariot (31:00) to successfully defend the IWC Super Indy title. -This match was absolutly stunning. I couldn't believe my eyes as these guys really put on a show. This match was total back and forth until AJ hit the Styles Clash for the 1........2.......KICK OUT!!!!!!! Then after hitting two stiff lariots he got the duke. After the match Styles gave up his title to the winner of the tounament.......Chris Sabin. New Jack defeated Balls Mahoney after guitar shot. -This match was your typical gorefest as both guys cut and sliced each other with very little wrestling mixed in. The best move of the match was probably when New Jack huled a golf club in the crowd nearly missing a young child......what an idiot he is. And yes, I feared for my safety. Eric Xtacy pinned Dean Radford to become the new IWC champion. -I skipped out on this one to go to the tape table, yes I didn't care because both guys are horrid. Southern Justice(Tracy Smothers and Chris Hamrick) defeated Josh Prohabition/M-Dogg 20. -Surprisingly this match WAS good. Apparently Southern Justice was late to the show and had to go on after the AJ Styles/Daniels match(All I could think was "good luck trying to follow that") but the match was surprisingly good nonetheless. Now onto the tournament itself...... Chris Sabin pinned Glenn Spectre to advance to the second round. -This was the opening match of the Tournament and wasn't given much time, but it was alright anyway. And if it matters, Sabin hit the "Future Shock" for the win. CM Punk pinned Sonjay Dutt to advance to the second round. -This was hands down the best first round match as Punk and Sonjay went at it back and forth. Sonjay tried to fight off an attempt by Punk to hit the Pepsi Plunge and was successful only to make a simple mistake, get placed on the top and Pepsi Plunged for the win anyway. Alex Shelley pinned Super Hentai to advance to the second round. -Very interesting match here as both men have been feuding in IWC for the better part of a year now, and were lucky enough to draw each other for the first round of Super Indy 3. This match was more of a fight than a wrestling match as the wrestlers found themselves wrestling all through the crowd and into the ring where Shelley hit a low blow and roll up for the win. Onryu pinned Soldier to advance to the second round -I was really psyched for this as I have never seen Soldier(something that I would later be happy about) nor have I seen Onryu. There really wasn't much to go nuts about in this match, except Onryu doing a plancha over the top to the floor onto Soldier and almost taking a little kid out next to me(AWESOME!!). Not bad, but not good either....... Chris Sabin pinned CM Punk to advance to the final - This match kinda crept up on us as it was after the first intermission. It was solid with very good in-ring work by both men in this one. AWESOME work with Punk working Sabin's arm(which was continued from Sabin hurting it in the first round. NICE WORK!) until Sabin capitalized on a cocky pin mistake and Sabin reversed it into a pin. Alex Shelley pinned Onryu to advace to the final -This match was ruined by the influx of streamers that were handed out and nobody(except for a few people) actually knew when to throw them. Quick match, nothing special here. Chris Sabin pinned Alex Shelly to win the IWC Super Indy 3 tournament This match was great. There was back and forth action with Shelley this time being the one to work Sabin's "injured" arm. Nice mat work here from Shelley, and Sabin made an incredible comeback to hit the "future shock" for the win and to become the.....IWC Super Indy Champion. JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 Another great show from one of the most underrated independent promotions in te United States. Hopefully, we'll get another A.J. Styles vs. Chris Sabin match for the Super Indy title, or maybe even a Chris Sabin vs. Christopher Daniels match. Either way, Chris Sabin was a great choice to win the tournament. Honestly, they might be THE most underrated promotion in the entire country. In November I went to a show that had a stellar AJ/Sabin match on it as well, so I would love to see that again. Also Sabin/Daniels would rock the perverbial house too and I'd love to see it. Did you go to Super Indy 3? I did and I just wanted to know what others there thought about it. JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2004 I live in North Carolina, so the only thing I can do is follow all of these great promotions over the internet and envy everyone who goes to the shows. Were you at one of the shows that had A.J. Styles vs. Colt Cabana? I've heard great things about both of the matches.

I've went to two shows in the last six months but I am planning to go to more, now I have extra time to do so. They are a very fan friendly promotion as you get to meet a lot of the workers(I met AJ for a second time and Daniels for the first time this weekend) and the matches are solid for the most part. I would recommend getting Super Indy 3 on tape as soon as it's realeased for the awesome AJ/Daniels match and the tournament is good too.
