Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 21, 2002 As reported by 1wrestling, about The Steel Cage radio show... Finally, 40 minutes late, The Steel Cage was joined by Juventud Guerrera who was in town to wrestle with New Breed at the IPW Wrestleplex in St. Petersburg. Juvi was somewhat stiff, but did say that he had been talking to Johnny Ace and WILL be in the WWF in May for SURE by the latest June. He also said he thinks it was smart for them to bring back the cruiser weight division and he looks forward to working with Rey and Billy Kidman again. ...I pray this is true, I really do! If Eddie, Hall, etc... can be allowed in, why not Juvvy!? What do you guys think about this? Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest Report post Posted April 21, 2002 I always thought he was a little overrated, but still a good wrestler.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted April 21, 2002 What good is it if he comes back and gets fired a month and a half later for being drunk or trashing hotels rooms
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted April 21, 2002 Juvi is worthless now. He doesn't have it anymore. His recent work has been nothing but dissapointing.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 21, 2002 He can still be an awesome rudo like he was before he came to WCW.
Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted April 21, 2002 He should've never lost his mask. He has went downhill from there. I think the same about Psicosis & Rey Jr. Rey Jr. could still be good though, he just needs to realize that he isn't black or a No Limit Soldier. He also needs to never use the Bronco Buster again. Guest Risk Report post Posted April 21, 2002 Why shouldn't Juvi come back? They let Hall back...You wanna talk about workrate dropping, look at Hall, Juvi deserves it more than him. I think most are skeptical of Juvi because he isn't "white".
Guest Andy Report post Posted April 21, 2002 I saw him in the opening match of the WWA tour last year (against Psicosis) - he was better than average, but not incredible. Andy
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted April 21, 2002 Not a terrible worker......I wouldn't mind seeing the Juventud on my WWF programming. Only if it's a match with Billy Kidman and not with Edge or Mark Henry.......
Guest FakeRazor Report post Posted April 21, 2002 I'd like to se Juventud in the WWF. Why the hell not? He's still a solid worker. By picking up guys like Mysterio and Guererra, the WWF is showing that they have some faith in the Crusier division.
Guest Report post Posted April 21, 2002 I can't wait to see Juventud in the WWF. I hope this is true. He is my favorite cruiserweight besides La Parka:) Working 200 days a year for the WWF will get the ring rust off him too. Hopefully they let him use the Juice gimmick. He can speak English too, which WWF requires all its wrestlers to do now.

I think most are skeptical of Juvi because he isn't "white". Well that came out of left field. Since when does his race have anything to do with it? The Rock isn't "white" in the traditional sense either, so who the hell cares?
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 21, 2002 The Rock isn't "white" in the traditional sense either, so who the hell cares? Juvi might get one of those racial intensive gimmicks....Latino Heat. I would love to see Juvi in the WWF, but will his personal problems be under control? His work in WCW help make the Cruiserweight division in the early days. His work in CMLL is average to say at least, nice rudo work with his father's team.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 22, 2002 When the second coming of the cruiserweight division was happening (1995), Juvi as a worker was up there, near top five in the world, with Benoit, Eddie, Kawada, and Michaels.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Juvi shouls stay away. THE WWF is were CruiserWeights go to die....though I'd love for the wwf to prove me wrong i doubt they will. at least as long as vince is running the company.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 22, 2002 They seem like they have commitment to it this time. After this Kidman feud I think Tajiri is better off opposing Helms. Too bad TAKA is leaving.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 22, 2002 If he comes in in May, I say he is running around naked and getting arrested by...The next day!
Guest Kramerica Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Before they waste their money on the Juice, they should get two superstars for the same price. El Dandy, and La Parka.. And while theyre at it, they can give the little fella from the first TE a shot. He has name reconition, and if you saw the webcast last year, he was a good spotty wrestler. Guest Report post Posted April 22, 2002 They should get La Parka. He was probably the most over cruiser in WCW before Jericho.
Guest Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Juvy and La Parka where, and still are, my fav. lucahdores. Did they ever give La Parka a title? god knows he was over enough
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted April 22, 2002 La Parka ruled!
Guest victorjenny Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Ummmmmmmmm........Guys Yeah La Parka did rule, I'll give you that, There's a good reason he never got the cruiserweight title, he weighs 260 friggin pounds, not all mexicans in masks are cruiserweights. And what webcast? Josh, that little obnoxious jackass? What are you talking about? I would love to see Juvi in the WWF, but will his personal problems be under control? And what is a rudo?? i never herd of that word
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Rudo is the lucha term for a heel, and technico is a face. Rudo's are generally by the book heels, so good at their trade and so hated. Juventud, Eddie, and Art Barr are three of the best known to American crowd examples. CMLL/EMLL is the major group in Mexico since the fall of AAA.

Guest Singular Report post Posted April 22, 2002 You have to give the WWF cruiser division a chance. It's still in it's baby phase and already people are saying it's where cruisers go to die. Give them a few months at least. If it's super over, like in WCW, there is a better chance of seeing La Parka, Chris Daniels, American Dragon, Low Ki and so on in the WWF. Or we can watch Vince's backstage segments in place of the cruiser matches.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Tajiri Juvy Rey Kidman Funaki TAKA Helms That would be a great start to a cruiserweight division... as it gets more popular, sign people like Shannon Moore, AJ Styles, Air Paris, Evan Karagias, Psicosis, Super Crazy, Kaz Hayashi, Jaime Knoble, Chris Daniels, American Dragon, Low-ki... and for the love of God keep X-Pac out of the division. And give the Mexicans their masks back! Then give Excess to these guys! :-D
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted April 22, 2002 And give the Mexicans their masks back They'd never take them back. They'd be killed if they did. Mask are a great tradition in Lucha.. if you lose your mask you can never put it back on. Anyone got any great knowledge on lucha? I know it's mainly 2/3 falls 6 man tags where you have to pin the captin or both other team member, and low blows and all piledriver veriations are DQ's if seen or match enders is not.
