"I played hurt for this city, played my heart out day in and day out, help take this team to the finals and yall here to talk about trading me because of practice? PRACTICE?"

He WAS right.

I always refer to this as my 'its not what you do, but who does what' rule. Steve McNair hardly practices because his body is a wreck and he's a combat hero, Allen does the same thing and he has to listen to freaking Chris Ford calling him out? Maybe if they drafted or signed some other players for the team, Allen wouldn't have to kill himself during and would be able to practice every week.

J.R. Rider... I guess his life as a whole.

Randy Moss driving fifteen feet with a meter maid sitting on the hood of his car.

How 'bout this --- Michael Jordan, who is an infinitely better player than Allen has ever had wet dreams of being, never missed practice.

Heck, back in the 80's --- you know, when players could SHOOT and PASS the ball and where scoring 90 was considered pretty weak --- all of the players were pretty good about going to practice.

You want to be a superstar? ACT like it.

This mentality is why the NBA is such a horrible league and why pro basketball is such a painful game to have to try and suffer through.
