Guest Luke Argyle Report post Posted April 24, 2002 Yeah, that's Daniels. I'm looking forward to Inoue having some breakout matches like he did with Liger in the '01. I think Inoue could be great one day. Shibata too, but not as much. Good to see AKIRA back. Has he been out for awhile?

Apparently Nogami is also an actor, so he can only contibute so much time to New Japan. It's a shame, too, cause he's a great worker, from what I've seen. Guest Tim Cooke Report post Posted April 24, 2002 "2. Best of the Super Jr. - Block A: Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Curry Man" This match is what I am looking forward to the most. Will Liger be able to instill some transitioning into Daniels or will it be another Ki v Daniels Internet rave out? Nah, it can't be that since Ki will never be able to shine Liger's boots. Seriously though, hopefully by working with Liger, Black Tiger, and even Kakihara, Daniels will learn some more than his spot to spot to spot transition offense and come back over here with a little more to offer to those "classic" US Indy matches. Tim I dunno, his tour with M-Pro didn't really seem to help much, but hopefully working with the New Japan juniors will have a more significant influence over him. Guest Report post Posted April 25, 2002 I will seriously be pissed if Liger wins it all, but it wouldn't be all that surprising. Not that he isn't a wrestling god or anything, but jobbing in the finals to TMIV, or better yet, Tanaka, would do wonders for their career.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted April 25, 2002 Well, seeing as there's a huge amount of talent ready to be pushed right now, I'd say there are plenty of others who could win besides Liger. Kanemoto, Tanaka, or Silver King would all do fine. I like TMIV, but no way would Liger book someone from an outside promotion to win the tourniment.
Guest Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Kanemoto v Black Tiger, El Samurai v Tiger Mask IV, Liger v Kanemoto, Samurai v Tiger Mask IV, Liger v Curry Man and Tanaka v Samurai should ALL kick ass.
