Guest Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Ohhh Happy Day... The more things change...the more they stay the same... At Judgement Day ,as it stands, for the first time in well over 6 years, the Undertaker and WWF Champion Hulk Hogan will collide... Personally im estatic that Taker steamrolled Austin at Backlash, but knowing AUSTIN, he is going to walk out on Raw, BITCH about this, COMPLAIN about that etc. etc. and work his PITIFUL ASS into the Main Event at Judgement Day...If that is the case, im going to be VERY ANGRY! IN ANY EVENT, Judgement Day will host the highest combined age of two superstars EVER in a WWF title match, Taker v.s Hogan, and PERSONALLY im looking forward to it... Also at Judgement Day, i'd love to see Eddie Gerrerro v.s Rob Van 'One Move' Dam in a ladder match...the ladder match last year was awesome, lets hope history repeats itself! Thanks for reading my rambling, I'm delusional after every Taker match....IN A GOOD WAY This has been the Taker Mark
Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Don't be so sure thats the plan.........I see a four way with Taker, Hogan, HHH, and Jericho. I think if tonights show is any indication, neither Taker nor Hogan has the engine power to put out a suitably watchable main event for the masses on ppv. Who the hell would carry the other there? HHH and Jericho can carry the workload for both with this scenario.
Guest Report post Posted April 22, 2002 "I see a four way with Taker, Hogan, HHH, and Jericho." No Austin, RedJed? Actually, the above scenario would be good for Jericho, because I think that Taker and even Hogan are at the point where they'd actually be willing to give something to Jericho. Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Austin will likely be positioned in a feud with Flair by next ppv....too bad Benoit got drafted to SmackDown, he would be an ideal guy to right off the bat feud with Austin (being managed by Arn, they actually have been talking about doin this I guess) in a sort of alliance with Flair and Benoit against him. That would be an excellent match for Judgment Day right up with the 4 way. Then have Flair v. Austin at KOTR.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted April 22, 2002 I'm thinking Benoit interferes at Judgment Day on behalf of Flair. As for Hogan-Taker, I can see them doing the 4way with jericho and Trips BUT I bet I know who will be the man doing the JOB!!!!
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted April 22, 2002 A four way would be a damn good idea. It makes sure Jericho doesn't have no match for two PPVs running, and if it was kept fast and well booked could actually be a decent match. Hogan-Taker would be vaguely interesting for nostalgia but as a 20 minute slugfest it'd be pretty dull.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Oh boy. If it is one on one UT/Hogan then it could possibley be the worst WWF title match EVER. It'll be horrible. Awful. *cries* I wish Austin would find his way in their and win the f'n title. Then we'd have a decent champion.
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Report post Posted April 22, 2002 As long as we're going with multi-man matches, why not bring back the six-pack challenge? Throw Austin, Hogan, Jericho, UT, Angle, and HHH in a ring and let 'em duke it out for the title. That way, the weaknesses of Hogan and UT are somewhat covered up, and Jericho and Angle get back in the title picture. Besides, the WWF has enough of a mid-card to make up the rest of a PPV without Jericho, Angle, and Austin.

Too much of a clusterfuck, kinda like the Armagedon Hell in a Cell. It would help cover weaknesses though. There probably isn't going to be a "good" solution to this entire situation. It's either Taker vs. Hogan or a three way with Taker/Austin/Hogan, or the above mentioned mass of main eventers match.
Guest Report post Posted April 22, 2002 Hogan and Undertaker in the match would be sensable. both are about at the same level physically with Taker still a little quicker than Hogan and have a larger moveset. And for a historical sense, Hogan vs Taker was bound to happen. Two screw job matches in the past, they need a single clean match either a win to Hogan or Taker. Oh but wait they are supposively OLD and slower.... So Hell Lets just KILL them right. If their not in their 30's they should be fired? RIGHT?!?! Taker haters As long as Abdullah the Butcher is running around the world doing his version of wrestling and Impaling people with forks at 70... Hogan and Taker can fricken Wrestle. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted April 22, 2002 The majority dont want to see Hogan vs Taker 1 on 1, and for that precise reason, is why we will probably get Taker vs Hogan.
Guest alfdogg Report post Posted April 22, 2002 I was happy when HHH lost the title, but then I thought "now he's just going to be squashing Jericho and Angle on Smackdown until he gets the belt back." So it's a no-win situation.
Guest Report post Posted May 1, 2002 The majority dont want to see Hogan vs Taker 1 on 1, and for that precise reason, is why we will probably get Taker vs Hogan. Truth be told, i agree... Hulk Hogan and the Undertaker wouldn't be the greatest match ever to grace wrestling as their styles clash big time, plus Hogan is very stiff within the ring... The answer to the problem? Throw in Angle (well not now, considering he has Edge at Judgement Day) or Jericho to help add something to the match WITH Triple H and you got yourself one hellva main event, BROTHER This has been the Hulka-hating Taker Mark. Guest converge241 Report post Posted May 1, 2002 Im hoping for the 4 way, but i wont get all up in arms if it ends up being Taker - Hogan. It might be decent to have a heel Undertaker get chased by the faces in one last run with the belt (not a long run mind you...). Trust me , there are other people I'd rather see in the title scene or with the belt itself but in the current WWF mindest Ive put myself into, I can cope. Guest MixxMaster Report post Posted May 1, 2002 Hey, as long as Hogan doesn't hold onto the belt, it won't be too bad, even though it IS the no selling taker...
