Scroby 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2004 OVW and Other Q and A May 13, 2004 Q: Will you be doing talent reports from OVW? A: Not that I will be posting here, no. I will likely send them to the office but I consider that behind the scenes stuff that doesn't belong here. Q: Are you going to be more relaxed with your diet now? A: I likely will be a little bit. I eat real strict while in OVW because it's easy. I only buy the stuff I want to let myself eat, but at home I think I may have a pizza night with the family. Maybe the Friday night I get home every trip. Q: Are you going to be involved in creative in OVW? A: I have no plans to. As I am here longer I may offer ideas during conversations with Jim Cornette, but this is his show. Q: How do you pick a traveling partner? A: You usually start with one of your friends and see if you have compatible habits. (eating habits, sleep habits, gym habits, etc.) Eventually you find a partner that fits. Q: Who has been your favourite travel partner? A: I've had three exceptional ones. Jerry Lynn, Edge, and Christian. Hurricane is more like excess baggage. He sits in that back in case you need him, but never actually helps when it comes to booking cars, or driving. Q: What do you do with your time off in OVW? A: I don't have as much free time as I expected to have. I hope to find time to finish my autobiography. I also will likely catch a few more movies. I spend a lot of my evenings preparing my next day's lesson. Q: How did the Victoria being your Sister thing start? A: Some guy e-mailed me saying we looked a like and that it was obvious that we were related. I didn't see any point arguing with him so I told him we were brother and sister. Q: What is your favourite finishing move of all time? A: I was always a big fan of Jake Roberts' DDT. It was so over. Q: Why would you be disappointed if your kids got into wrestling? A: This is a very hard lifestyle to survive. In the long run this industry produces more tragedies than triumphs, especially when you count all the struggling guys who never make it. Q: If you could have one more match in WWE who would it be with? A: This is a tough call. If Bret Hart were healthy I'd say him. I'd like the chance to wrestle Benoit and HBK, but I might pick Jericho because then my first and last match would be with the same guy. Q: Is Raven the wrestling genius he seems to be? A: It might be better to ask, is Raven the wrestling genius, he wants everyone to think he is? (LOL). I like Raven and enjoyed very much working with him. I think genius is a bit of a stretch. He is creative and understands this business, but does that a genius make? I think not. I respect him and his talents, I just don't throw the genius moniker out there that easy. Q: What did your family think about you retiring? A: This was a decision I made with my family so it wasn't a shock. They are excited for me as we all decided this is what's best for us and our future. Keep those e-mail questions coming.
