Guest Dazed Report post Posted May 16, 2004 That style of picture is called a "Mosaic". I saw one posted on another forum, and they said: There are a few mosaic programs on the market. I made the base of that one with a really cheap shareware one that wouldn't let me save in a high enough resolution and then did a few hours of clean up and color adjustment in photoshop. I was very thankful for photoshops ability to take a set of actions and automate them for turning those images into 40x40 squares.
