Guest Just Looking Report post Posted May 20, 2004 During Super Bowl XXV, I was pissed because the Bills were going to kick a field goal to win the game. I didn't even want to watch. My dad then said, "Hang on- Norwood could miss." He was right.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 Game 7 between Diamondbacks and Yankees After the Yankees took the lead into the bottom of the 9th, I had this feeling that if Mark Grace was due up that the Diamondbacks would win I asked my brother "is Grace going to bat" He said "Yeah" My reply " Diamondbacks are going to win" The other one I had was Lakers-Kings game 4. The Lakers were losing by double digits when we left for church, my brother was mad because they were losing and he couldn't see the game. I told him "Don't worry you know the Lakers always come back,Kobe is going to hit a shot at the buzzer to win the game" Of course it was Horry who made it, but I was close. Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 I have two and have never been right again. 1: In the 1995 finals go up 3-2 on the Rockets and everyone is assuming that the Knicks are going to win it all. I tell everyone "The Rockets are going to win it in 7 and John Starks is going to shoot the Knicks out the game." Lo and Behold. I was A basketball wizard that year, mostly because of my other prediction. It was in 1994, and what's your problem man. Damn! I played out the finish to the 1999 Game 5 Knicks/Heat where Houston makes the running shot. And I too called the Aaron Boone HR, like as soon as I saw him going up to bat. Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 20, 2004 More of a jinx than a prediction. I said "It would be fucked up if he misses the extra point" after that amazing touchdown by the Saints last year. After they scored the TD and were going through the reviews to make sure it was a TD, me and my roommate were arguing about the extra point. He said they should go for two and the win, I said they should just kick the extra point and go to OT since they'd ripped the Jags' heart out already (they were playing the Jags, right?). And after all that arguing, he misses it anyway.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2004 I'm not sure if it's "creepy" or not, but when I went to the Pats game in Miami last year, after Fiedler threw that last INT in overtime, I turned to the guys behind me and said "that's the last time they will touch the ball today." Sure enough, next play, Brady hits Brown with an 82 yard bomb to win the game.
yankovic fan 0 Report post Posted May 21, 2004 I blame all of you for Carney missing the extra point Eh, Saints... Can't help but love them. Coach Haslett is a super nice guy. I had a chance to meet him and a few players last week. Pretty cool for them to talk to the fans.
