Guest Report post Posted April 22, 2002 I didn't order or go to see the Backlash PPV, and I'm definitely glad I didn't. I'm only really wanting to see the CW Title match and the IC Title match now that I read about them. But, honestly, the WWF can take everything else and shove it. I'm not paying near $40 to see Hulk Hogan hobble around a ring with someone else who's nearly as slow (and only half his age)! Regardless, it makes me violently ill to realize that they actually put the Undisputed Title on Hogan. I swear to god, this had better be the fabled "Retirement Run" for him... RAW, Smackdown. I don't find myself enjoying the shows at all. How does Smackdown net all of the top stars and RAW gets TWO. Taker & Austin. Taker is pathetic to watch, as always. And Austin really has no Angle's or Jericho's to work off of anymore (Maybe RVD?). I certainly don't consider the NWO or Kane or Bradshaw a top star. "Apparently" the plan is to stock up Smackdown in order to impress UPN with ratings so that they renew their deal when it comes up. I don't know, man. I just don't know. I'd say it's an interesting time to be a fan, but shit - it isn't! It's almost a chore to be a North American wrestling fan these days. Seriously! There was a point when if I couldn't catch RAW, I would make about 50 phone calls to make sure that at least SOMEONE taped it for me. But now, now I don't even care if I miss it. I remember when McMahon would go off on Ted Turner, about how WCW failed because they didn't know wrestling. Well, I'd like to ask Vince if he still knows wrestling and if he does, then please explain, because I'm seriously missing the picture these days... *sigh* ??? *endrant* :angry: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
