Vanhalen 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Wasnt going to put this in the other 24 thread as it would have taken that thread off the topic, plus im still not sure how to cover something up properly for spoilers The CTU element is set to be toned down in the next season of 24, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Series regulars Reiko Aylesworth (Michelle Dessler) and James Badge Dale (Chase Edmunds) won't be back on a full-time basis in season four, which is set to premiere January 2005. Instead they are expected to have guest spots only, as are fellow CTU actors Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe O'Brian), Zachary Quinto (Adam Kaufman) and Daniel Dae Kim (Agent Tom Baker). The fate of Carlos Bernard - former CTU head Tony Almeida - is also in the balance. Last seen facing treason charges and a possible death sentence, his character looks to be reduced to that of a recurring role. The only remaining full-time cast members from season one are Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer), Elisha Cuthbert (Kim Bauer) and Dennis Haysbert (David Palmer). Rumours suggest that Cuthbert may also be reduced to a recurring role in the next season as she furthers her film career. Elsewhere, the future of Penny Johnson Jerald (Sherry Palmer) is similarly uncertain, having taken two bullets to the stomach in the most recent episode. Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Here in Australia, I believe it was episode 15 that just finished, the episode after Jack kills Nina. I couldn't resist reading, and actually got more spoilers for season 3 than 4. Oh well, sounds great - and I'll be tuning in for Season 4, for sure.
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Huh. Everything I'd guessed for tonight's episode won't happen. Now I'm really curious as to how they'll wrap up everything.

treble 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2004 I'm guessing this means next season won't be set in LA and I guess we'll just get a lot of these people talking to Jack on the phone or whatever.
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Well, that idea sounds pretty lame, but also accurate. Truthfully, I was extremely excited to see Jack's death tonight. Just 'cause, y'know, it was bound to be awesome. Why, exactly, would/should this guy keep having such bad days? Oh, maybe my own life is just so boring that I cannot comprehend an exciting life. Or something.
Guest OctoberBlood Report post Posted May 25, 2004 Eh, I don't really buy into all of this right now. But it could work. We'll see what happens.
Vanhalen 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2004 Just *bumping* this back up, as they seem to be very accurate, particularly with the train featuring prominently in that 1:30 teaser
