I've never seen it but the MSG Alley Fight betwee Slaughter and Patterson is supposed to be one of the best WWF matches of the 1980s. It won several MOTY awards in 1981. The Valentine/Santana cage match is also flirting with the *** barrier.

Actually, the cage match that they're showing on the DVD is a pretty good match. that it may be...but each men deserved to shine on their own. Greg Valentine Vs Roddy Piper-Starcade 1983 would have been splendid...even if he jobbed. A bloody **** match is a bloody **** match nontheless. I don't know Santana's history all that well though...Could have shown this match as his highlight but given Valentine his own match (although that would have Valentine jobbing twice)
